Trump recently came to Christ, so his situation is different.

Trump's personal behavior of maliciously slandering Biden, other Democrats, and anyone else he doesn't like indicates otherwise. As Jesus said, "By their fruits you will recognize them" and "for out of the abundance the heart, the mouth speaks." The acts of the flesh are obvious in him.

Also being called a hypocrite by a bunch of hipocrites can be mathmaticly reduced to only the latter group being the hypocrites.

Hypocrites / (Hypocrites ^2) = 1 / Hypocrites

The evangelical witness and reputation of Evangelical Christianity has been damaged and it hinders the message of the Gospel. Christians can either draw people closer to God by their behavior or they can push people further away from God because of their behavior. Christians can be a blessing or a curse. Christians who refer to Democrats as baby murderers, demonrats and children of Satan are not letting their light so shine before men and it isn't being a city on a hill either. It certainly isn't loving their neighbor as themselves or loving and praying for their enemies.

10So Samuel spoke all the words of the LORD to the people who were asking him for a king.
11He said, “This will be the manner of the king who will reign over you: He will take your sons and appoint them to his own chariots and horses, to run in front of his chariots.
12He will appoint some for himself as commanders of thousands and of fifties, and others to plow his ground, to reap his harvest, to make his weapons of war, and to equip his chariots.
13And he will take your daughters to be perfumers, cooks, and bakers.
14He will take the best of your fields and vineyards and olive groves and give them to his servants.
15He will take a tenth of your grain and grape harvest and give it to his officials and servants.
16And he will take your menservants and maidservants and your best cattleb and donkeys and put them to his own use.
17He will take a tenth of your flocks, and you yourselves will become his slaves.
18When that day comes, you will beg for relief from the king you have chosen, but the LORD will not answer you on that day.”

prolly an oxymoron wadr

Yeah it would appear an oxymoron to me also, as I tend to stay low and humble, but there are people that want to help others and radiate their Christianity that might serve in office.

I'm convinced that God calls some Christians to run for office. I thank God for those who answer the call and stay true to His calling!
well as you say, you are convinced, right, so all of the Scripture in the world would not convince you to change your mind there i guess. But you might compare that to the concept of eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge, and contrast it to hidden manna maybe

I see how that could be offensive to Trump supporters, similar to calling democrats supportive of abortion. And the content of your argument is debatable. So then you're welcoming some argument, and perhaps triggering some heated debate.

The content of my argument has been written in countless public news articles and commentary from non-Christians and Christians alike for the last five years. I know from personal experience from talking to many non-Christians I know in real life that they share this expressed sentiment.

may Yah have mercy on their souls, yes
anyone can claim to be a Christian though i guess

yes it does speak about those that claim to follow Jesus but he doesn't know them, so their works must be evil.

Matthew 7:22-23

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Some of the content of your argument has been copied and pasted from Trump-hating news sources. Things we've heard over and over and over--every time we turn on the TV!

There are always the polls vs elections and liberal news vs conservative news. I personally haven't heard the information you're presenting in the conservative news I browse.

Or did I get something wrong?

I've known Christians who have served in public office.

They can make the difference in whether our laws are completely ungodly. I've personally witnessed this.

It has been claimed that Trump is a Christian, but his own words and personal behavior betray this proclamation. For example, the meme below mocking Biden that Trump retweeted on Twitter to publicly mock Biden too IS NOT the behavior of a born-again Christian, as it's claimed he is.

Yes I agree, we need to be represented. It's not for me. But I'm not everyone, I'm just someone. And I welcome real Christians occupying office.

"Your sentiments expressed" Most presidential elections are close...what does that mean? Nearly half of our country supports abortion. Nearly half of our country supports anti-Christian sentiments. Nearly half of our country supports drug use and trafficking. Nearly half of our country supports communism. Yes I would say that the fungus, walks among us. And yes there are a lot of articles that support evil or stand against those that are trying to oppose evil.

I've posted several of the news articles and the commentary I was referring to in my other post. You can view these articles by clicking here.

Yes that comes across immature and childish, which is typical for Trump. LOL, he is that way. And I've known other super successful people that haven't had time to take a real hard inner look and mature, they're too busy taking care of their families and serving God. So they stay immature their whole lives.

Absolutely. The enemy is working overtime on social media these days, on any subject matter of consequence and even those which aren't. I heard Facebook is a total disaster.

Yes indeed...the enemy is working overtime for sure...and what better place for him to skew God's message and cause division....Christian forums!
