Vs 5 says child so it means infants not new believers

What about the rest I sent you?

You never heard of a Grown up being called a Child of God??? How do Babies “Repent? to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the free gift of the holy spirit.” (Acts 2:38)

Aren't New Believers 'Babes in the truth" and in need of Milk? As they grow in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior they need to move on to maturity. Peter puts it this way. "As newborn infants, form a longing for the unadulterated milk of the word, so that by means of it you may grow to salvation," (1 Peter 2:2)

Isn't Baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ like a New Birth??

yes of course but Jesus is talking about real children

Matt 18:4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Acts 16:15 entire household
It does not say except infants!

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

promise (sacred oath) (sacrament) is to you’re children!

All are called
Lk 2:10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

All people

It all comes down to the blood of the Lamb. The blood of Jesus on the cross by which we are saved. The blood of our salvation: the blood of the Savior of mankind.

The one reason God Himself had to provide Himself a sacrifice for sin by shedding His blood on the cross, was because the pure blood from God was no more in man with Adam's transgression.

It was the Life in the blood of Adam that God breathed into his nostrils, which made him a living soul, and so long as he kept the Lord's one commandment, he would continue to live and eat of the tree of life freely. But with transgression came corruption of the blood and no more life therein, but only the sentence of death. (2 Cor 1:9)

And so from Adam death passed upon all men, because the blood of Adam was corrupted by transgression. But in the 2nd Adam, the pure blood with eternal life therein is once again upon the earth in the man Christ Jesus:

"Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot." (1 Peter 1)

Jesus was precious in the world, because His blood was precious. Mankind needs the precious blood of the Lamb, incorruptible and full of Life, for atonement (Lev 17:11 ) and for everlasting life with God dwelling among them, as God predetermined from the beginning:

"Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed." (John 6)

The LORD Jehovah worshippers will not drink the blood of the Son, nor will they confess to be washed in the blood of the Lamb, because it is not the blood of the Father, whom they call falsely the LORD Jehovah.

To believe that the blood of the Son was the pure and incorruptible blood with eternal life therein, is to believe a man on earth having eternal life in Himself by His own blood, not by the making of Jehovah. The reject the 1st Adam as born with immortality by the Life of God in his blood, even as they reject the 2nd Adam as born with immortality by the Life in His own blood. Why? Because they care absolutely nothing for the blood of the Lamb.

It is the blood of Jesus that makes the Father and the Son distinct from one another. We are not washed in the blood of the Father, but of the Lamb. And if it is the blood of the Lamb that we must drink and be washed in for atonement and salvation, so then the Father is not the Savior of mankind, but the Son is.

The savior of mankind is the One in Whom is the incorruptible precious blood of atonement, which is not the Father's, but the Son's; therefore the Son is Savior, not the Father.

This is the final declaration of the matter: The Father is never in Scripture called the Savior. Never. But, God, the LORD, and the Lord and Christ Jesus is:

"I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour." (Isaiah 43) Only One LORD and Saviour

"For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour." (Isiah 43) The One LORD and Saviour is the Holy One of Israel

"Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour." (Isaiah 45) The One Saviour is God of Israel

"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord." (Luke 2) The One Saviour is born Christ the Lord

"For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ." (Phillip 3) The One Saviour is the Lord Jesus Christ

"We trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men." (1 Tim 4) The One Saviour is the Living God

"Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ." (Titus 2)The One Saviour is the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. And they are One and the Same. Not the Father.

"Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ." (2 Peter 1) We obtain salvation by obtaining the precious faith of Jesus by drinking His precious blood. Not the blood of the Father.

They say the LORD Jehovah only is God, not Jesus. And Scripture says the Lord Jesus Christ only God and Saviour, not the Father.

The LORD thy God, the Holy One, the Living and great God of Israel is by plain Scripture our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ, and beside Jesus there is no other Saviour. No, not the Holy Spirit nor the Father, because it is the Son and Him only Who came down from heaven to bring with Himself as sacrifice and atonement for sins, His own precious and pure blood of God Himself to be shed on the cross.

The 2nd Adam was not fashioned by Jehovah's hand of the dust of the earth, neither was His Life breathed into His nostrils by any other. The eternal Life of the great God, the LORD Jehovah, was His own from everlasting and in His blood upon the earth. The name of Jesus is above that of the name of Jehovah, when the LORD Jehovah was born Christ the Lord: Jesus.

No worshipper of the LORD Jehovah, as creator of Christ, will ever confess to drinking and being washed in the blood of the Lamb, because to do so is to confess Jesus as Saviour of the whole world, and there is only One:

"And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world." (1 John 4)

The closest the Father is to the Son as Saviour is the One Who sent Him to be so.

"Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour." (Titus 1)

The Father is not Saviour. The Father did not shed His blood ont he cross. The LORD Jehovah was never the Father. Jesus is the LORD Jehovah born Saviour of the world.

The Baptism you teach is a fraud. The Catholic Church not only removed Jesus Christ from (Matthew 28:19) but inserted a Pagan Roman Baptism. None of the Apostles baptized anyone in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit in the first century. NONE! Notice this admission.

  • The Catholic Encyclopedia, II, page 263: “The baptismal formula was changed from the name of Jesus Christ to the words Father, Son, and Holy Spirit by the Catholic Church in the second century.
  • Catholic Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger: He makes this confession as to the origin of the chief Trinity text of Matthew 28:19. “The basic form of our (Matthew 28:19 Trinitarian) profession of faith took shape during the course of the second and third centuries in connection with the ceremony of baptism. So far as its place of origin is concerned, the text (Matthew 28:19) came from the city of Rome.” — Joseph Ratzinger (Pope Benedict XVI) Introduction to Christianity: 1968 edition, pp. 82, 83.

"Everyone who pushes ahead and does not remain in the teaching of the Christ does not have God." (2 John 1:9)

Catholics who believe Mary to be Mother of God have not drank of the blood of the Lamb, neither are washed therein.

His words and blood are Spirit and Life ministered by God with faith of hearing, not by external sacraments of man.

The wine of the Sacraments are not the 'veritable' blood of Jesus.

Proof: Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? Have you drank of His blood?

Yes or no.

better check scripture

A good tree!

Matthew 7:18
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

The fruit of the tree of Mary is our salvation! Lk 2:30 Jesus is our salvation!
Lk 1:30 Mary found our salvation!

Biblical Mary:

Mother of God Lk 1:43

Immaculate conception (sinless) gen 3:15 enmity or total war none of satans works are found in Mary
Also Lk 1:28 full of grace lk 1:49 great things plural (immaculate conception of Mary and the miraculous conception of Jesus)

Lk 1:30 found favor with God (the salvation lost by Adam) mother of our salvation Lk 2:30

Perpetual Virgin Isa 7:14 matt 1:21
Lk 1:31-34

Queen of heaven
In the line of david’s kingdom the mother of the king is always queen
Jesus is king Lk 1:32-33
And king of heaven so Mary is queen of heaven

A Royal greeting!

Lk 1:28 is the only place in the Bible where such a greeting takes place!
Mary is of the tribe of Judah and the royal house of David the king!

God himself is greeting Mary thru the instrument of the angel Gabriel!

This is a Royal greeting of the queen of heaven and earth! Queen of the angels and saints! Mary is of the house of king David!

In the line of king David the mother of the king is the queen, as Jesus Christ is the king of heaven and earth and the angels and saints so Mary is the queen of the same! Lk 1:32-33

Lk 1:28 And the angel entered to her, and said, Hail, full of grace; the Lord is with thee; blessed be thou among women.
29 And when she had heard, she was troubled in his word, and thought what manner salutation this was.
30 And the angel said to her, Dread thou not, Mary, for thou hast found grace with God.

Mary is queen in rev 12:1 and heb 4:16
Mother of divine grace

now to the blood, merits of Christ
Jn 1:16 Jn 1:29

how did you drink his blood?

I guess only those at the cross are saved? Those whom the blood fell on?

Sacraments instituted by Christ for the salvation of souls!

Not by “faith alone”
“Faith alone” not biblical
“Faith alone” never given in prophesy in the OT.
You may think “Accept Jesus Christ as you personal Lord and savior” is biblical but there is no such verse in your bible!

Faith and the sacraments in the church founded by the authority Christ on Peter and the apostles is biblical!

Faith and baptism is the biblical initiation into the new covenant and member is Christ and His holy church!

Merits of christ’s passion, death, and precious blood are applied in the sacraments!

Colossians 1:20
And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

Matt 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Acts 22:16
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Rom 3:24
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

1 pet 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

Heb 10:22
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Acts 2:47
Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Lk 1: 72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;

73 The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,

74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,

There is only one true church founded by Christ on Peter and the apostles and their successors is the new covenant body of Christ! Matt 1:18 & Jn 10:16 one fold

1 Timothy 3:15
But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Christ and His church are one: acts 9 why persecute me?

Sacraments are the fruit of the sacrifice!
The holy sacrifice of Christ, His passion, blood, and death producing unlimited fruits of divine grace, actual and sanctifying grace! Jn 1:29 Jn 1:16-17 Jn 10:10

The promise (sacred oath or sacrament) of the Father acts 2:38-39 with reference to ez 36:25-27 Also a mystery
Mk 4:11 Eph 5:32 eph 6:19 1 Tim 3:9 3:16 Col 1:27 2:2 4:3

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Ez 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Jn 3:5 born again by water and the spirit.

Heb 7:21 For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec
(Oath = sacrament)

Hebrews 8:6
But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. Based on Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

A promise is a sacred oath or sacrament!
Baptismal regeneration is the promise of the Father for union in the new covenant!

The church and the seven sacraments are necessary for salvation

Better covenant on better promises

2 Timothy 1:1
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,

Life of supernatural grace merited by Christ in His passion and death!

An oath to sacramental life in the new covenant in union with the mediator and communion with God, and the saints!

Promise of the Father acts 2:23-39
Promise is an oath and an oath is a sacrament! This promise of the sacrament of baptism refers to ez. 36:25-27

1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

1 Pet 3:20
Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us!
(Ark of Noah a type of the church, member of Christ and his church and salvation by baptism!)
(Outside the ark all died and outside the church there is no salvation!)

EXACTLY!

He said to them: “You, though, who do you say egō eimi ?” (Matthew 16:15)

Simon Peter answered: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” (Matthew 16:16)

In response Jesus said to him: “Happy you are, Simon son of Joʹnah, because flesh and blood did not reveal it to you, but my Father in the heavens did.” (Matthew 16:17)

Peter said to them: “Repent, and let each one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the free gift of the holy spirit." (Acts 2:38)

For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those not acknowledging Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist. (2 John 1:7)

God is not from the Beginning. God is eternal. However, the Word is FROM the Beginning. Look at John 1:2 in the Greek.

The Bible starts "In the beginning God created ..."
John 1 refers to that moment as well, creation, the beginning of the physical universe in which time itself was created. So when I said God was there from the beggining or Jesus was there from the beggining, it does'nt negate that God is eternal and existed before that, it is just a reference point for our understanding. Col. 1 :16, 17 clearly says Jesus is the creator. All things were created by Him , through Him and for Him. The whole Bibleb really about Jesus. If He wasn't God, why would God's focus so much on Him. Angels like Michael are only mentioned five times - not much focus in him. MIchael doesnt recive worship and nobody is allowed to bow down to angels. Mjchaelnis just a warrior archangel who fights and protects. He takes orders from His Creator, Jesus.
My prayer for the JW's and all the non-trinitarians who think Jesus is Michael incarnate is that if and when they get to heaven, first order of business is for Jesus to greet them, give them a gift, a necklace with a CROSS on it, then introduce them to Michael and then maybe get invited to a birthday party, oh yeah.

Peter said to them: “Repent, and let each one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the free gift of the holy spirit." (Acts 2:38)

the command to be baptized (in the trinitarian form) is given in the name of jesus

I'm taking about Believers.. In the same manner "Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that all our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea, all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ." (1 Corinthians 10:1-4)

He still thinks it's literal. The verse is talking about Salvation with those baptized into Moses some translations say unto Moses. They were Saved. Yet they died in the wilderness for refusing to listen to the angel at (Exodus 23:20-21)

Jesus even bought this event up, telling them their forefathers ate the bread but still died. So Jesus said to them: “Most truly I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have No Life in yourselves." (John 6:53)

How can we do that? Peter said to them: “Repent, and let each one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the free gift of the holy spirit. (Acts 2:38)

and what about Matt 28:19?
Is peter saying to be baptized in the form of the name of Jesus only? No

it must be in the name of the father, and of the son, and of the Holy Spirit
Explicit command of Christ!

That's exactly what he did. Do some research on it. For your own sake if for nobody else. Look at the event Jesus Christ brought up to the Jews when many of his disciples left.

"Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that all our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea, all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ." (1 Corinthians 10:1-4) Read John Chapter 6 :35-71)

A few more verses:

  • Allow scripture to interpret scripture. “Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations in MY Name, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.” (Shem Tov Hebrew Matthew 28:19)
  • Notice this scripture? “one Lord, one faith, one baptism;” (Ephesians 4:5)
  • "Whatever it is that you do in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, thanking God the Father through him." (Colossians 3:17)
Take Care...

1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

no scripture does not interpret scripture the church does

The father is God and Lord
The son is God and Lord
The Spirit is God and Lord

but there are not three God’s but one God
Not three Lord’s but one Lord

from the athanasius creed
