What events were revealed through the prophecy-Dan.9:24-27?
Dan. 9:v.24-KJV -
24 - Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city (Isaiah 23:v.15-17, and Jeremiah 25:v.8-16, and Jeremiah 23:v.5-8), to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

24 - “Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and for your holy city for putting an end to the transgression, for making an end of sin, for forgiving iniquity, for bringing in everlasting justice, for setting the seal on vision and prophet, and for anointing the Especially Holy Place.
Comments:
- The verse above is revealing centuries of prophecy about several events, but in three steps;
The prophetic events are:
1 - about the people of Israel and the city of Jerusalem;
2 - Finishing of transgression; (for putting an end to the transgression)
3 - to make an END to the sins;
4 - to make reconciliation (to atone) for iniquity; (forgiving iniquity)
5 - to bring in EVERLASTING righteousness (Eternal Justice);
6 - to seal up the vision and prophecy, and
7 - to anoint the Most Holy (to anoint the Holy Place)
- The prophecy above was given to Daniel in the time of King Darius; 522–486 B.C. - Dan. 9:v.1 reveals: In the first year of Darius (522 B.C.) the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans;
- By the prophecies listed above we can see the Plan of the Most High God in a total of 483 years to be fulfilled before Christ, before of the coming of the Messiah-JESUS-,and final 7 years to be fulfilled in a determined time of the end of the times, in the consummation of the centuries. JESUS said (it was the fourth Day):John 5:v.17-18 CJB - “My Father has been working until now, and I too am working.” 18 This answer made the Judeans all the more intent on killing JESUS — not only was He breaking Shabbat, but also, by saying that God was His own Father, He was claiming equality with God. NOTE: It was still the fourth Day or around 4,000 years after Adam, the first man, that became a living human being.
- So, GOD would perform his works through JESUS in three steps, two steps before Christ, and one step-the third-after Christ, as follow:
1 - 7 weeks = 49 years.............................49
2 - 62 weeks = 434 years..................... _434__________483 years
3 - 1 week ............................................ _7__________ 7 "
Analysing what the 7 weeks mean prophetically:
587 B.C. - Judah is conquered by Babylon - Jerusalem and First Temple destroyed; most Jews are exiled.
1 - 7 weeks = 49 years --> 587 - 49 = 538 B.C. - End of 70 years of captivity; therefore, Fulfilment of Daniel 9:v.25 :
25 - Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. At 538 B.C. GOD concluded the first step of His prophetic Plan moving Cyrus to decree the return of the exiled Jews to Judah/Jerusalem to rebuild the Temple.
Rebuilding, however, was interrupted during the reign of Cyrus, and was only restarted in the reign of Darius (522-486 B.C.), and according Ezra 6:v.15 - CJB:
15 This house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, in the sixth year of the reign of Daryavesh(Darius) the king. 522-6= 516 B.C. - the rebuilding of the Temple finished after 21 years of rebuilding, part in the time of Cyrus, and part in the time of Darius.
538-516 - Many Jews return from Babylon; Temple is rebuilt.
The next step of GOD's Plan - 62 weeks - 434 years
516 B.C.-434 = 82 B.C. --> Ending of 62 weeks period - 82 B.C.

516 B.C.-434 = 82 B.C. --> Ending of 62 weeks period, exactly between 129-63 period above
63 B.C. Jerusalem captured by the Roman general Pompey

63 to 4 B.C. - Herod, Roman vassal king, rules the Land of Israel - Jerusalem Temple is renovated
BIRTH OF JESUS-the promised Messiah-Fulfilment of Daniel 9:v.24
God sent/sends JESUS and establishes the second covenant, for putting an end to the transgression, for making an end of sin, for forgiving iniquity, for bringing in everlasting Justice, for setting the seal on vision and prophet, and for anointing the Especially Holy Place.
Simultaneously, GOD sent/sends Elyjah: Matt.11:12-15-Complete Jewish Bible-CJB:
12 From the time of Yochanan the Immerser until now, the Kingdom of Heaven has been suffering violence; yes, violent ones are trying to snatch it away.
13 For all the prophets and the Torah prophesied until Yochanan.
14 Indeed, if you are willing to accept it, he is Eliyahu, whose coming was predicted (by Isaiah and Malachi).
15 If you have ears, then hear!
- 30 to 33 Ministry of Jesus of Nazareth after ending 69 weeks.
JESUS is killed. JESUS is crucified. Fulfilment of Dan.9:v.26-CJB:
26 - Then, after the sixty-two weeks, Mashiach (Messiah) will be cut off and have nothing.
