You are not alone @Looking4MeI know exactly why I abandoned Christianity; well all religions the world over. There's nothing in any faith that could change/fix/restore/save me. This is evident by how beliefs paint every one with the same brush (Eight Billion Beliefs Are Only Cause for Chaos) We've all become belief addict's, to escape the fear of what we don't know. Destroying each other so we can remain in our personal safe zones.
Everyone of all beliefs struggles universally
as we are spiritually connected as one humanity.
The greatest contribution of Christianity
is divine forgiveness, so much greater than the destructive ills that divide and conquer us.
What helps us to survive is to forgive,
So we don't keep repeating the ills from the past that makes our lives living hell.
You will still strive for peace and justice that the human conscience is designed to respond to.
We all want peace and security
and freedom from fear, stress and abusive oppression.
The only difference is agreeing to receive the empowering grace of forgiveness.
The struggle of humanity is what it is.
If we forgive one another, and pains and injustice from the past, this helps us to see forward into steps and solutions we can take
to make the most of our relations and resources in life.
Take care and know you have the support and prayers of people who care for you equally and the unique role you play in the process of humanity achieving peace and justice for all.
We are all in this together!
Much love, prayers and more power to you!
Yours truly
Emily
