I think what is sad is all the abuse those who missed the penalties are getting on social media, and elsewhere- absolutely disgraceful and not deserved.

Ye criticism and disappointment can spill over to abuse in stadium or online.
But they have to be thick skinned with social media and just get on with it. Social media is just like that
As long as a player has the respect of his boss and team mates, thats all that matters.

Southgate is considering his future as England Manager, that also makes me sad as he has been great for the English team ……

Id say he must stay if the poms are to have a good chance next year...

Yep, they have started..US women's football, lost to Sweden in their opener 3-0 what an eye-opener...

Ok I just checked, the opening ceremony isn’t until tomorrow. I always thought that heralded the start of the Olympics, so how is it that they are already playing the football games ?
