I was thinking of opening a thread on deduction and induction but it's difficult to explain and probably won't be that interesting to most people but the scientific method is one of the best ways we have of finding truth, the court system is another one. Both are corrupted to some degree unfortunately

Hello my friend , Im just jumping here into your thread.
Because we've been friends for so long now, I believe that is okay to speak my heart.

For a long time now I have been concerned about the amount of time my Christian brothers and sisters spend in 'reading about, and talking about' Covid, vaccines, and masks ! If as much time was given to talking to each other about the things of God or in prayer, Im sure the kingdom would advance much more speedily. ( "Even so come Lord Jesus")

Ive been grieved with this distraction of the Devil for a long time...Im sure the Enemy is thrilled at the amount of sidetracking of God's people and their total obsession with what the devil is doing!

Where in Gods Word does it tell us to focus on the things of the world and what the enemy is doing!?
Even in our own family circle I see them totally sidetracked. No more discussions about what God is doing in our lives, but all talk now is about Covid or what the quacks ( and elite) are doing next, to us.

Ive said before, Why do people seem so surprised at what the governments are doing. We've been TOLD what they will do at the end of the Age. We know it.
Worse is yet to come.

The admonishment has always been- "Have your lamps burning brightly and be wearing the full armour of God..."
"He shall not be afraid of evil tidings , his heart is fixed , trusting in the Lord." Ps 112.

Living ahead on what 'they' are doing and planning for us , is robbing God's Body of what He is doing IN US TODAY.
WHY is our eye always on what the enemy is doing ...for months this (Christian) Site has talked of nothing much else!! I find it so sad.

The Kingdom is now, it is today, it doesn't start in some far off destiny.
Now is the appointed time..now is the day of our salvation.
We have so much to rejoice about...

Romans 8 shows two basic laws in operation on this earth..one dominated by life and one dominated by death. Every day we each chose to 'live under' the one or the other.
Being born again does not mean that a Christian automatically lives under the law of life...it is a daily choice!
Where the mind goes, then man follows. And by reading , searching , investigating what 'they are , and are going to do', is not dwelling or living in the law of life in Christ Jesus.

Personally I am beginning to believe that this obsession is a large part of the last great deception to draw the Church away and weaken it.

Under the law of life we find hope. Under the law of death there is despair .etc etc...
Faith is in the law of the Spirit of life...Fear under the law of death ....

My bible says - " Give NO place to the Devil..."
But I see Christians everywhere filling themselves , giving their time, energy, research , mind , thoughts ,and meditation to these evil things of the devil.

"Arise , shine, for thy Light has come...and the glory of the Lord is upon you"

We are called to be salt and light in the earth.

I tend to pray about things as I find that God alone knows the truth , however we also need to weigh up with the knowledge that he has given us as human beings. I guess I have used deduction with things, but must admit I am not sure about induction ….in fact I have only heard of the word in context of of being ‘ inducted into ‘ an organisation or Church. I am open to learn a bit more about how it is applied. Much of science goes over my head I am afraid to say, but that’s just me, it doesn’t mean it is not relevant I have just never really thought in a scientific way……..

Great post! Filled with much truth!

The enemy wants us scared, the enemy wants us distracted by the things of this world. The "father of liars" (John 8:44) sure is having his way on earth in 2021, for many today are drowning in a sea of lies. What is occuring in real-time is textbook "information warfare" - there are deceptions and lies on both sides of the coin. They want us running around like chickens with our heads cut off. Why devote headspace to this nonsense?

Let's open those Bibles and talk about the only begotten Son of God! Let's cherish the history and prophecy that has been revealed to us in truth in that amazing book. If we serve the Lord and keep ourselves undefiled by the things of this earth, what have we to be so preoccupied with? I implore all to open your Bibles to Psalms 2 and see what happens to the kings and rulers of the earth who do not serve the LORD with fear and who do not "kiss the Son"...

Let us devote all our spirit and mind to the Lord and meditate in His ways night and day!

I admit many of us are spending a lot of time on this subject but it's hard not to when the radio and TV keep going on about it every single hour of every single day...

For the people that are pro choice it's impossible to ignore the looming shadow of forced vaccinations getting closer and closer...

And for the people that have been effected by all this it's impossible to ignore. People have lost jobs, become homeless, attempted suicide or committed it and are in a state of psychological trauma and torment among other things

Are we supposed to just sit back and ignore all this???

It's easy to say for the people who have been little effected by it, but it's unreasonable to expect these people who are suffering and being pressured to simply ignore it.
That's what they want us to do...
Ignore the facts and just take the vax...
Never

That's why I don't trust in government or vaccines...

Good morning my DEAR BROTHER.... and sweet kisses to your precious hermit heart.

I am one who has been UNAFFECTED by this... that is honest... I have not lost ANYTHING due to covid... I am one of the very BLESSED ones... so perhaps I should not even be allowed to speak out on this topic... I absolutely UNDERSTAND the HOUNDING of the press regarding this issue...
I also UNDERSTAND the very real mental health effects of covid... ( the increased suffering to the point of suicide in some very sad cases ). I am not immune or oblivious of the REAL damage that has been caused emotionally to the great majority.
I am also aware of the incoming agenda of FORCED vaccinations... I feel it... I see it in my own country... It is REAL and it is HAPPENING.

You ask a valid question.... Are we just supposed to sit back and ignore all this?? My answer is NO we are not... but how I play that out is different than most.... WE are at this time needing to be getting our affairs in order... WE are at this time needing to get right with GOD... WE are at this time needing to ensure that our friends and families are being taken care of.... There are so many things that NEED to be done AT THIS TIME... to ensure that we are PREPARED for what is coming.

I have made my voice clear.... as have you and others on this platform.

My focus... my ONLY focus is being right with GOD... and seeking HIS PRESENCE. It is all a matter of priority and outlook.

I have never cared what is happening in the world around me... It has never affected me. So by the time covid came along... I simply went into sheep and Shepherd mode... and strived to stay VERY CLOSE to my SHEPHERD.

I still maintain that GOD is up to something... and this is where I am placing my energy... on what GOD is doing... rather than on what man is doing.

I think it’s about balance Cristo ….I am affected by the mandated vaccines, but I seek God and follow his directive because I know that he knows me, my job, my fears, my concerns, my situation. For me a very clear conviction came to not sign the new contract unless the words our changed. This is what The Lord is calling me to do ……I never felt any conviction about the actual vaccine itself, but was protected from getting the Pfizer one.
I just refuse to believe everything that is posted either side of the argument because the one clear thought that is placed on my heart is that none of us are as knowledgeable as God is and if he had wanted us to ‘ know ‘ everything he would have made revelations much easier to understand. Many place themselves on the level of understanding and knowing everything that is going on, to me that is presuming a higher place and not humbly accepting that we are not God. We can guess, speculate, presume and within both sides there is truth, but not the whole truth as only God knows that. Many have condemned others for following certain paths without considering that it’s before the Lord those choices have been made, instead many are accused , labelled and critiqued. It’s the latter that I find concerning because all it does is cause division between Christians and little mutual respect.

I like to bird watch, meditate on the Word and wonder about Gods wonder while I'm fishing as well...

I caught a 50cm rainbow last season.
I guess it would of been 3 or 4 pounds.

Have not worked for nearly a month, it has been a good rest, but I am getting pretty bored now lolz. It's times like this when I wish I was living in Tasmania, SA or WA.

But yeah, it would be good to get back onto the rod, Dan's going to allow fishing when Victoria's population gets to 70% first dose which is on the way to being achieved by 23rd of September.

Even though we don't have the same agreements on vaccines.

It's actually a bit of some good news to Victorians.... I was expecting it to be a longer wait.
