They definitely do work as such, don't they?

@Johann I love that passage, actually; and have done for many years: see the contrast between sovereign grace and where we were.
All the young ppl with Bible verses tattooed with whom I have spoken do seem anyway to have had them done for witness tool reasons. It's actually quite widespread among younger Christians.
@Johann I appreciate your post and sentiment. My wife and I talked to a young lady with John 3.16 tattooed on her wrist area. All the young ppl with Bible verses tattooed with whom I have talked seem to have had them done as witness tools. These function as conversation-starters.
I do think this picture is an extreme example, @Johann ......View attachment 22778
You keep on saying the same thing over and over again, why not include nose rings and ear rings and every other 'ring' and use that as an 'effective' witnessing tool?
This is what the world looks like and we have no part in this world.

@Taken Losing her mom during the sentence must have been traumatic for her. Sounds like you spent a great deal of time and effort trying to encourage her.
Maybe she graduated to getting Scripture leaning tattoos eventually also? I reckon the ones gotten in prison would have been quite varied; kind of indicate even of inner turmoil.
@Taken May she be blessed to remember and take heed to the Scriptures she heard and the kindness and guidance she received. To say the least, it was a challenge. She had a home, but was definitely a local street kid, not much more than a 7th grade education. Reading, Math, History, Geography, very limited, same as Scriptural knowledge, very limited. Her talents, were; Very Pretty, used to connive and a Tough Physical Fighter, used for her Defense. And that was HOW she lived and survived. Opening her to other options first as a person, then introduction to the Lord....IN a prison, definitely required a delicate balance.
I know she had some of the for example “skull tats”, re-done with flowers. Can’t say about new religious leaning tats.
@Taken May she be blessed to remember and take heed to the Scriptures she heard and the kindness and guidance she received.
Yes, and while skull tattoos are quite popular (and some ppl think them a little severe, right?), when they are done with a flower element added they can actually seem quite feminine, right? can't they...., which is why they are sometimes thought to be quite nice to have done, I guess.
@Taken Oh I see; she changed her mind about the skull design then. She went to a professional and covered to not have a skull seen.
@GodsGrace So...did you see your friends again at all recently? All girls: teenagers, young women and older women.
The teenagers and both young women had a few tattoos...all small.
One had a pretty "bracelet" tattoo and she loves it.
@MantisYeah she is smarter than me lol.
@Taken Oh I see; she changed her mind about the skull design then.
Yes, a good tattoo artist can work wonders so that the original design is completely covered with something else...
You can see also how so many ppl rely on the tattoo artist profession...
(Maybe it's a pity that more Christians don't work as tattoo artists...?)
@Mink57 Well, when you move from Vegas in due course, maybe you'll miss being able to go look at the portfolios...?yes, there are quite a few tattoo parlors here.
While I'm not so much into tattoos, I DO appreciate the artistry of some to be amazing.
@Taken Yes, well this is often the best option, right?Yes she had the original tat redesigned.
