25Therefore He is able to save completely
d those who draw near to God through Him, since
He always lives to intercede for them."
Hebrews 7:23-25
Thanks for taking the time to explain your Doctrine —- unfortunately, most of it was over my head...lol.....the above verse is what caught my eye though and it seems to bolster my case for the Believer That May have been seduced into the Error Of Unbelief ( an “ Error” That I Believe will be remedied before the End of one’s Faith Walk—Alas , I cant prove that)
Once a person “ turns to God ,with Faith in Jesus Christ, I believe that person has qualified as one that Jesus will “ Save Completely” ..... Jesus is “ Able” to do it , so why “ wouldn’t” He do it? If He “ LIVES” to INTERCEDE , what kind of Interceder would He be if He only did that act for those that really didn’t need it?
It would be like Jesus saying, “ Yeah, I’ll come to your rescue with my role as the “ Intercessor” as long as you don’t actually “ NEED” an Intercessor—- If you really NEED me by doing something terrible — like falling into Unbelief —- forget it , Pal—- I’m outta here! Best of luck ! “
I don’t think that’s the case....The Holy Spirit is supposed to be our “ Helper “ ......Any Believer that falls into doubt and unbelief needs Help.....Plus God has a Promise That He MUST fulfill —- the Onus falls upon HIM to “ FINISH the Work that * HE* started.....Things Got “Started” the moment that the person Believed the Gospel.....God's Word says that ‘ NOTHING in the FUTURE” can take you from His grasp once you have placed your Faith in Jesus to Save you....You get Saved by your Faith in Jesus and sometime “ IN THE FUTURE” you lose that Faith, it would be an act that occurred in the Future and God has it covered with His Promise —- “ Nothing” means Nothing...
