Great! How do you identify those sent Taken?
Matt 10: (Jesus sent 12 named)
[
1] And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
[
2] Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first,
Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
[3] Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;
[4] Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
[5] These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
[
6] But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
* Noting...Judas Iscariot, served as Treasurer of the disciples funds, betrayed Jesus, hung himself, thus no account of him having continued going out Serving the Lord.
* Noting...as Judas was a betrayer, caution applies to others presuming to Serve the Lord God.
(Consider subsequent post regarding # 3).
Matt 12: (God sent Jesus)
[
17] That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,
[
18] Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.
Luke 10: (Jesus sent 70 unnamed) (Few unnamed laborers to send more.)
[
1] After these things
the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.
[
2] Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would
send forth labourers into his harvest.
[
3] Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
Acts 9: (Jesus sends Saul/Paul)
[
10] And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
[
11] And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one called
Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,
[
12] And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.
[
13] Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
[
14] And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
[
15] But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for
he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
1) Specific NAMED are SENT.
2) Unnamed Laborers are SENT.
3) Expectation of more Laborers to be SENT.
# 1 & 2 Have their Preaching and Accounts recorded in Scripture.
# 3 reveals an ongoing expectation of Laborers. <—-> That I would say are unnamed of the general population:
* “that” may or may not assume “TITLES”, (Preacher, Bishop, Deacon, Teacher, Minister, etc.)
* “that” may or may not LABOR with the Word of God in their mouth.(Truth verifiable in Scripture, Doctrines verifiable in Scripture;
OR:
Philosophers Truths, Man-made Doctrinal Truths, Not verifiable in Scriptures.)
*
HOW TO KNOW...about #3?...IF they are Godly Sent?
* BY their assumed “TITLES”? No.
* BY Whatever they SAY? No.
*
BY Verifying WHAT THEY SAY, IS the SAME of that WHICH Scripture DOES SAY? Yes.
*
WHY bother to VERIFY?
* BECAUSE the Scripture REVEALS one being SEEN WITH JESUS...
WAS a fraud, and betrayer.
* BECAUSE as Scripture WARNS to expect...
False teachers...2 Pet 2:1
False chirst’s, ... False prophets...Mark 13:22 - Matt 24:24
Does that satisfy your question?
