Davy, scripturally and spiritually, you can't contradict or contend against what I have said, and that which I am now saying, with scripture:
John.11[
25] Jesus said unto her,
I AM THE resurrection,
and THE [New]
life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
Col.1[
18] And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the
firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
Rom.8[
29] For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son,
that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
2 Peter 1[3]
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
[4] Whereby
are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be PARTakers of the [His] divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
> So then, let me ask this:
Are you now a
PARTaker/
PARTicipant of His Divine Nature?
If so, assumming that you are born again of His Holy Spirit, how is that possible for you, if you did NOT
HAVE PART in Jesus' resurrection, who is The First Resurrection???
In what phase of Jesus' three comings [yes, it's scriptural], shall it be that YOU are
now "sealed unto the Day of redemption"?
1. in the flesh, through a virgin, His first coming?
2. In the Spirit, being the Spirit of Christ Himself, His second coming?
3. In the Glory of His Immortality, His third coming?
[Yes! It is true! The visible churches do have the Lord's "comings" messed up, as you shall see in the following.]
I trust that your answer is #2. And of course it is, because
He who IS THE FIRST resurrection did "come to you", and now both He and His Father have made their abode/dwelling place WITHIN YOU, aka the Holy Spirit. John 14:23.
John 14:15-18
[
18] I will not leave you comfortless:
I will come to you [by my Spirit]. See Romans 8:9.
What did you think Paul meant by the following:
Philippians 3[
10] That I may
know him, and
the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of
his sufferings, being made conformable unto
his death;
[
11] If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead [in the
LIKENESS of HIS Resurrection into immortality].
Enough for now. Your head is probably spinning, until you are able to sort out what religious "church-ianity" has force fed us all these years.
