Yes, I have read much of what sister White has written. If you need a more specific list, that might be more difficult to do, but I can say I have read the Conflict series (Patriarchs & Prophets, Prophets & Kings, Desire of Ages, Acts of the Apostles, Great Controversy), and others like Steps To Christ, Ministry of Healing, Early Writings, and various compilations (Heaven, Last Day Events, Marantha, Prayer, Evangelism, etc) and portions of the Testimonies to the Churches, and other things like it.
Sure, no worries. I am not ashamed of what I believe and practice, and so will let anyone know if they want to know, and are as polite as yourself.
Well, I hold to the Bible's (KJB) teaching. What sister White taught, is simply in harmony with it, as she was a messenger of the LORD, and I have tested her on that, thoroughly, but I do not expect others, who are not Seventh-day Adventist to merely take me at my word on that.
I do not, presently, expect you to.

Due to the penchant of Adventists to accept extra-biblical revelation and the doctrinal issues mentioned above, we would strongly encourage believers to not get involved in Seventh-day Adventism. Yes, a person can be an advocate of Seventh-day Adventism and still be a believer. At the same time, there are enough potential risks to warn us against joining a Seventh-day Adventist church.
I am not trying to expose anything, or you, just want to know the truth and the veracity of these two links.

There are several minor and major issues with the article. The definition of 'cult' is rather vague, and Christianity, in the days of Paul would fit the defintion. Even Paul was called a 'ringleader of the sect of Nazarenes' (Acts 24:5), by what was classed as 'orthodoxy'.
Another, is right at the outset, where it says, "I was born into the Seventh-Day Adventist Church ..."
No one is physically born into the Seventh-day Adventist church. One can only be born again into it. What they meant to say was that they were born into a family that claimed to practice the faith of the Seventh-day Adventist movement.
As it continues, it says, " ... and before I was born there are at least 4 generations of followers." Maybe so, but that says nothing for the person who is speaking and their relationship with Jesus. There were plenty of 'generational' Jews who didn't accept the message of Jesus.
It furthermore says, "... I was educated in the Adventist school system. ...", to which I say, I am sorry for that, as the 'educational' system is rather compromised, as foretold by scripture/prophecy and sister White. However, a lot of the things mentioned by this person (if such a person ever actually existed, for the only thing we are given, is that their name is "Emily"), are simply standard practices for Christians, who all teach against sexual sins (masturbation), teach against dishonouring parents, elders, teachers (as in the LORD, obviously), teach against Hollywood, and it's deceptions (ie Harry Potter, etc), teach modesty in dress, for men and women, boys and girls. This goes for the biblical teaching against piercing (poking holes in the body Temple) which is forbidden of God in scripture, and as for makeup, there are several things there which would take too long to discuss in this single reply. Anyway, to sum it up, both the Sanctuary (Psalms 77:13) and Jesus himself, are the example in dress for all, and there are several things in the OT and NT (like from Paul, etc) which may be considered also.
It sounds like a lot of their problems were themselves, and/or local and custom to their area (hispanic), not actually regulatory to Seventh-day Adventist faith and practice. I cannot fault them for their dress-code, which is part of biblical dress reform (I have a whole study on it, from scripture).
As for cleaning a church, it is usually set up in a rotation, by the various faithful families that attend. As for instance, I, who am a male, also clean the church, not because I have to, or that I am ever on a list, but I choose to, because I love God, His place of worship, and desire a clean place. That this person makes it a complaint is rather bizarre in my opinion.
As for church leadership, I am not sure what this person refers to in the article. If Pastoral, Elder, Deacon, that is reserved for males/men as according to scripture, from Genesis to Revelation, without exception. Yet, it says nothing about women who preach, teach, pray, lead out in various things, or are prophetess. In my own experience, we had an evangelistic series, that was entirely led by the women's ministry, guided by the Elders of the church. The treasurer, church clerk, teachers, and a few other offices are held by women, as allowed by scripture. It seems their problem is with scripture, not the church practices. They seemed to think those things are merely social modern constructs, when they aren't.
The writer in the article speaks about "misogyny", but I believe they are writing from a 'feminist' perspective, which is a modern error, that undermines family, and church structure. It might also be due to a cultural, or local, issue.
They speak about mandatory baptism at 14. If that is true in their local area, it is a grave mistake, as it is not following Seventh-day Adventist belief and practice, which requires a person to believe, and meet what the Bible says in several place. Merely getting dunked in water at any age, without those things, is worthless. Having a second or third later in life, is equally worthless, unless the biblical prescription is met - faith, etc.
They speak about "conservative" which is worthless. They need to speak about "conversion", which is true Seventh-day Adventist belief.
I read this, "Sex is only for creating babies and is not for pleasure." and laughed internally. That's a joke. It isn't true - at all. Whoever wrote this is writing a caricature, not a real picture. In other words, they are writing to deliberately malign the Seventh-day Adventist faith and practice.
The Seventh-day Adventist faith does not practice "public displays of disowning family and friends". They are the ones that say of themselves, "I don’t talk to them (family who are still Seventh-day Adventist) anymore." So they are the ones who cut themselves off from relationship. That's sad to see, and I am sure breaks the heart of their family members.
They are continually speaking of their present mental state, which is unhealthy, and they blame their experience, when they are always focused on clothing, dress, appearance and being able to do things which God's word forbids. Their mental state will never improve where they are, even if they go to counselling ("... put not your trust in princes ..."), which is simply secular catholicism, where a person confides in another all their problems, rather than to God in prayer.
The person uses the word "Saturdays" rather than "Sabbath". This to me, says something is up with this person's story.
The question is asked about, "What would you like to say to the leader of you cult?" And the response is, "Well, she's (referring to sister Ellen G White) very very dead ..." and that is just a ridiculous statement, and ignorant of Seventh-day Adventist history and practice. Ellen G White was never "the leader" of the Seventh-day Adventist faith, and that may be read in her own words, and history. She was a messenger of the LORD, but was always subject to scripture, and even the church body as a whole. She even submitted herself to the GC (General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist) leadership, and was sent to Australia, because they disagreed with her and didn't want her around (think like Jeremiah, etc).
The person even goes on to say that Ellen G White was "kicked in the head by a cow" and that is how her visions started. Nonsense.
I have never been through their 'experience'. My own experience is entirely different, and providential.

God tells us in His Word that the tongue has incredible power. We can use our tongue to bring blessings and life or curses and death. The saying "sticks and stones can break my bones but words will never hurt me" is simply not true. Our tongues can be the most difficult thing to control and leave us with great regret if we use our words to hurt. There is hope!

QUESTION: WHO IS THE "SCAPEGOAT" OF LEVITICUS 16? IS IT JESUS OR SATAN OR SOMETHING ELSE?

Who, or What, does the “scapegoat”, in Leviticus 16’s Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur); 10th day of the 7th Month (Ethanim (1 Kings 8:2)) ceremony, represent from the type to antitype, from natural to spiritual (1 Corinthians 15:46)? Some persons have said that the scapegoat is a symbol of Jesus Christ. Some have said the scapegoat represents the devil or satan, or some evil angel in general., and some have even gone so far as to say that only the Seventh-day Adventists teach that the scapegoat is a representation of satan, while some have said other things. What is the truth?

The reason why some persons think Jesus is the antitypical scapegoat, is because of verses like Hebrews 9:28; 1 Peter 2:24, which say that Christ “bear the sins of many”, or “bare our sins in his own body on the tree”, but they do not understand those verses in their entirety:
Hebrews 9:28 - “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”
1 Peter 2:24 - “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”
Christ Jesus bore the sins as the LORD’s goat did. However, if we consider what Leviticus 16:8,10,21,26 says about the scapegoat in that it was “presented alive before the LORD”, “to make an atonement with him”, and afterward it was to be “let go” “for a scapegoat into the wilderness” it cannot, and does not, apply to Jesus. Jesus died, as the LORD’s goat did. The LORD’s goat made atonement for all the people, as Jesus did. The LORD’s goat was never let go into the wilderness. The scapegoat is different in all of those aspects. Only one “lot”, one “goat”, was “for the LORD”, being representative of Jesus having taken upon Himself the sins of the world, as Hebrews 9:28; 1 Peter 2:24 share. Hebrews 9:28 reveals that Jesus does not eternally carry those sins from the time of Calvary (Passover). Jesus, later having become an High Priest (Hebrews 4:14; Psalms 133:1-3; Acts 2:1-4,16-18,33; Revelation 5:6), does something with those sins just before He comes the second time, for the text reads, “shall he [Jesus] appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” Where did the sin go that Jesus bore? The scapegoat portion of the Day of Atonement ceremony answers that question. Once the sins are removed from the sanctuary (Heavenly; Hebrews 8:2; Revelation 15:5) by the High Priest, they are then all placed (confessed) upon it’s head, who is then sent away into the wilderness by a ‘fit’ (timely, on time) man.
Why the scapegoat’s head? The goat was always the “sin offering” (Leviticus 4:4, 9:15, 10:16, 16:9,15,27; Numbers 15:27, 28:22, 29:22,28,31,34,38; Ezekiel 43:25). The “head” of the scapegoat, is a reference to the leader (chief, ruler; Numbers 25:15; Judges 10:18, 11:8; Isaiah 7:8-9; Ephesians 1:22) of sin (Daniel 10:13,20; Matthew 9:34, 12:24; Mark 3:22; John 12:31, 14:30, 16:11; Romans 8:38; Ephesians 2:2, 3:10, 6:12; Colossians 1:16, 2:15; Jude 1:6), and of the sinful mindset (Isaiah 1:5; Jeremiah 9:8; Matthew 12:34; Luke 6:45(b,c)). Remember what God said He would do unto the “serpent”, the instigator and author of sin (John 8:44):
Genesis 3:15 - “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy [the serpent’s] head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”
Psalms 7:16 - “His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.”
Romans 16:20 - “And the God of peace shall bruise [completely crush] Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.”
This is how it is throughout the whole of scripture (KJB, 1 Kings 2:32-33,44; Esther 9:25; Job 4:8; Hosea 8:7; Joel 3:4,7; Obadiah 1:15; Proverbs 28:10; Ecclesiastes 10:8). Since Jesus took upon Himself the sins of the world (Isaiah 53:3-12, 63:3; Galatians 1:4; Hebrews 1:3; 1 John 2:2), represented by the Crown of Thorns (Genesis 3:18; Matthew 27:29; Mark 15:17; John 19:2,5), He was “bruised [crushed]” (Isaiah 53:5) by them unto death. Yet, Jesus never sinned, neither is the author, originator, or instigator of sin. Satan is. Therefore, the serpent (Revelation 20:2) is to be held responsible for all the sin/sins that have ever existed, and it is this sin which will destroy him (Leviticus 16:21; Ezekiel 28:28; Genesis 3:15; Psalms 7:16; Romans 16:20).
The ceremony required “two” goats; not just one, and it required the casting of “lots” to decide between the ”two”, one of whom was “for the LORD”, and the other “for the scapegoat”. In scripture (KJB), whenever a lot is cast, it is always used to distinguish between two or more persons or things, never the same person or thing:

The Day of Atonement ceremony never can take place at Calvary (AD 31; Daniel 9:24-27; Ezra 6:14), for that was the time of Passover (14th day, 1st Month (Abib/Nisan), season of Spring), unto Pentecost; while the Day of Atonement (AD 1844; Daniel 8:13-14,26; Revelation 9:13-15, 10:6, 14:6-12, &c) came much later (10th day, 7th Month (Ethanim), season of Fall).

In Leviticus 16:10, the scapegoat was to be “alive” and let go “into the wilderness”, bearing the sins of all upon his head, which is symbolic of the devil (the leader of the rebellion against God), being led captive (Revelation 20:1-3; “fit man” (Leviticus 16:21; right on time), the “strong man”; Psalms 19:5; Proverbs 24:5; Luke 11:22), with the sins of all he has ever tempted to commit upon him (Genesis 3:15; Psalms 7:16; Romans 16:20), and held (by chains of circumstances, God’s divine providence; Psalms 73:6; Lamentations 3:7; Ezekiel 7:23; for devils easily break iron chains, Mark 5:3-4; Luke 8:29) upon the desolate earth, the “wilderness” a “land not inhabited”, “a dry land”, a “habitation of dragons” (Isaiah 34:14; Revelation 12:9, 20:2), “a parched ground”, and “thirsty land” (Isaiah 35:7; see also Psalms 68:6; Jeremiah 4:23-29, 25:33, where was once the "fruitful place”), for 1,000 years. At the end of the antitypical day of Atonement, the sins must be cleansed from the Heavenly Sanctuary, and from the hearts of His people (already confessed and forsaken), and finally to be placed back upon the head (Leader and heart) of the instigator of all sin, Satan. Not to pay the penalty of the sins of the saints (Jesus already did that at Calvary, AD 31 Passover), but for his own sins, as Leviticus 16:10 says, ”to make an atonement with him (scapegoat)”.... I have only ever seen one copy of that thing, and it is useless as a Bible (because it isn't one), and for study and it should never have been sold in the publishing houses. It was one persons personal paraphrase. It is never used for preaching, that I have ever heard, never cited in any official church materials that I am aware of, and it is so rare, that most people in the church have never even heard of it (and I have spoken with plenty). I do know why it is mocked at by non-Seventh-day Adventist 'cult-finding' groups, and it should rightly be mocked in my opinion, but they make a big deal out of that which is already nothing, just to try to compare it with the NWT, etc. However, they never seem to compare it to other modern paraphrases of the Bible which are still sold in common bookstores to Christianity in general (which are equally as useless).
