The Audience that was alive on earth during the days of Jesus and the Apostles have died and have been judged.

Why didn’t you say so? If that is the case does that mean revelation has been completed too? Cause at first you just suggested the Bible was written to all people who are believers today.

Believe me the Bible was never written with me or you in mind when they wrote; they wrote about their time and what was going on and was gonna happen in their lifetime.

The Bible is a most wonderful gift given by God and is helpful to restore the mind and soul, so I agree with you both on these things @David in NJ, @amigo de christo.

and even though the Bible was not written to us or for us even in mind; the benefit of trying to study and see what is true is beneficial.

I don’t have everything right, and no one should believe me but test all things and hold on to what is good.

There is no Bible verse anywhere that suggest everything the apostles had done, and so forth are needed for us to do today because the days of material religion or church is not around.

What is around? People who live by the spirit to seek and to love God and love others, and that comes with also sharing the gospel and teaching it to others so that they can grow and become not only mature but to grow in understanding the surround audience, the times of the audience, the culture, and all these things play in to learning and growing in one’s individual faith which are all different measures accordingly given by God.

JESUS is Alive = YES = His words are Living Spirit and they can never die or fade away
JESUS says: "these words i speak to you they are Spirit and they are Life."
JESUS says: "heaven and earth will pass away but my words will never pass away"

#2 - God's words are Truth and HE invites us to walk in agreement with His words of Truth.

#3 - We must choose for we cannot have it both ways = we cannot add our words on top of God's

again we see him taking james out of text . WHILE it is true the tongue can no man tame . what is IMPOSSIBLE for man
IS POSSIBLE with GOD . WE can Bring our body and our tongue into subjection to CHRIST .
For later james even says , MY BRETHREN these things OUGHT NOT TO BE .

JESUS has not returned . paul warned against such men teaching the ressurection is past already .

We do know of what Enoch went thru for Jude and Revelation tells us.

Think now my Brother, put on the Mind of Christ which you have.

JESUS said: "As in the days of Noah so shall the return of the son of Man be."

God destroyed the entire human/animal population on earth with the Flood.
Enoch was living on earth just before this happened.
Noah was also living on earth right up to and including the Flood.

Revelation and Jude tells us what happened on earth in Enoch and Noah's day.

But it says nothing of Enoch suffering great troubles. We should not add to Scriptures things not there just because they may sound logical.
