No it wasn't. That is your biased view. No such thing as a catholic in the New Testament Church. So God calls Popes who produce children with someone who is not his wife.

You've hit on an important point. Catechesis, at least in western affluent society, is abysmal. And it's not a recent problem. It's now generational. I would wager that a majority of Catholics in this country have about a 2nd grade education in the faith. The sad thing is that there are so many resources now available for them to "catch up" and learn their faith. Yes, the Church does have the fullness of Divine Revelation, handed on from Christ to the Apostles, who did likewise to their successors, the bishops. But many problems crop up if the lay people aren't being taught, as Christ commanded. From whom much is given, much will be required. Faith in poor countries like in Africa is thriving. We're even getting some priests from Africa to make up for the lack of vocations here in the U.S. In fact, we have one at our parish.
So according to you quoting James- the fetus is a dead thing? That has been proven false- it is living! An infant who is three weeks old is still being manufactured! The child breathes in the womb, has a heartbeat, a circulatory system and moves! It is alive.

But if you want strict personhood evidence, it has its own DNA, its own blood type, is growing according to the genetic plan, at a certain point has a heartbeat and circulatory system, breathes and moves! Acorpse has a degenerating DNA while a fetus has a generating DNA.

One thing I have noticed about most Christian Boards they all get their fair share of people writing on them who have no idea what they are talking about. I guess it is an opportunity to regale us with what they don't know and try and make it sound as though they do know.
It's easy to see why people support killing babies. The Satanic, America hating, Left media has brainwashed them. Hopefully God will deliver some of them from Hell fire!
