I believe in the heat of the moment anyone can make a mistake and @Keturah is grounded in Scriptures and is fully aware gennēthēnaiis a once of event-Verb - Aorist Infinitive Passive-
Ye must be born anew (dei humas gennēthēnai anōthen). Jesus repeats the point in Joh_3:3 (dei and the infinitive instead of ean mē and the subjunctive) with anōthen (from above) only and not ex hudatos.
So this is no "gotcha!" to you.
This is the same root (anagennaō, cf. 1 Pet. 1:23) is used in Jesus' discussion with Nicodemus in John 3:3,7,8 (gennaō). It is an aorist active participle, which speaks of a decisive act. The NT also uses other metaphors to describe our salvation:
1. "quickened" (cf. Col. 2:13; Eph. 2:4-5)
2. "new creation" (cf. 2 Cor. 5:17; Gal. 6:15)
3. "partaker of Divine Nature," (cf. 2 Pet. 1:4)

Christianity is not a reformation or a new morality; it is a new relationship with God. This new relationship is made possible because of
1. the Father's mercy and grace (cf. Exod. 34:6; Neh. 9:17)
2. the Son's sacrificial death (cf. 2 Cor. 5:21) and resurrection from the dead (cf. 1 Corinthians 15)
3. the work of the Spirit (cf. John 3:6; 6:44,65; 1 Pet. 1:2)

Anyway, I am off topic, and I have spoken to Behold about it...not understanding your theology here, that’s for sure...maybe @Behold has more to teach on this regenerated daily....makes no sense to me.....regenerated is the rebirth the spiritual birth, when we become born again....it’s a one time event....it will/ should leave one speechless......we aren’t born again every day,LOL.I will leave it there ,have a great day and God Bless You.

But once you try to prove that "works prove im saved, and if i dont work, then im not".... you've just denied ... "The GIFT of Salvation"

When we become born again, works do follow, but not in our own strength/ we don’t work at it.
I don’t work, it’s God who works in me....it just happens very naturally....and when I’m guided to help my neighbour with her garden, it’s the Lord leading me to help her.....I don’t even think about it...it just happens..if that makes sense.LOL...He definitely directs my path for sure...absolutely amazing!
if you ask them what they mean by "walking in the spirit", they'll talk about doing works.

It’s always copy and paste of another’s interpretation of scripture....does the Holy Spirit lead you to copy and paste other people’s understanding of scripture.
