God doesn't torture anybody. Hell is sheol, it's holding place for the spirtualty dead or wicked. Read Luke chapter 16.
Second esdras chapter 7. The 3 qualifiers for the lake of fire is.
1, Hating God.
2, Hating Christians.
3, Despsing God's Laws.
This is easy to understand.
Those who love and serve God and repent, will be in paradise. Get the picture.

"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked (the emphasis is towards mankind, including babies): who can know it?"
