The reason the salvation is by faith alone is that salvation is by Christ alone.

Jesus is the one that justifies the ungodly, Romans 4:5. Jesus is the one that reconciles us and the world unto God, 2 Corinthians 5:18-19. Jesus is the one that atones for our sins and the sins of the whole world, 1 John 2:2. Jesus is the one that overcame sin, death and the Devil and now sits in heaven as "The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords" Revelation 19:16. Jesus is the one that makes us complete in himself, Colossians 2:10. Catholics are trying to do in their flesh what God has ALREADY done in Jesus Christ.
And it id because of Jesus Christ alone that we are able to do the goo works that God prepared for us in advance to do (Eph. 2:10).

If those good works aren't an essential element of your faith, along with trust and surrender - then it's worthless.
If your faith is just belief - if it's just lip service - then is os DEAD (James 2:14-26).

You should be preoccupied with the works that Jesus did in your name and on your behalf, instead you are preoccupied with your own works that are tainted with sin and pride.

That's where you are wrong. They are not MY works - they are works that GOD created in advance for me to complete (Eph.2:10). And NOTHING that God creates is “tainted with sin and pride.”

Read the
Lesson of the Sheep and Goats (Matt. 25:31-46).

You apparently think that you are without sin. John said, "If we say that we have no sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us" 1 John 1:8. You have been blinded by your Catholic religion. Because you have rejected the Gospel and justification by faith, you are a goat.

WHO said anything about being without sin??
What are you talking about??

HOW does the idea that obedience is an essential element of faith translate into sinlessness??
Bear false witness much?

How can works prepared by GOD Himself be tainted with sin and pride?? They are HIS works. I’m just the instrument He uses to accomplish them.
If they were solely MY works – they would be worthless.

The old false doctrine of its not me doing the works, its Jesus living his life through me. Jesus is not interested in living another life through a sinner. "For such a high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, SEPRATE FROM SINNERS, and made higher than the heavens" Hebrews 7:26.

The Bible tells us that the good works we do in Christ were prepared by GOD HIMSELF (Eph. 2:10).

The previous 2 verses attest to this:
Eph. 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

I cannot boast about those works because I am simply the obedient instrument.

So, you think that you are a robot? Why are you doing good works? Are you doing good works out of gratitude for what Jesus has done for you, or are you doing good works to try and please God? If you are trying to please God you are wasting your time. God is only pleased with the works and the obedience of Jesus Christ. We are accepted only in him and because of him.

I do good works out of the OBEDIENCE of faith.

If your faith is NOT obedient - then it is just "belief", like the demons (James 2:19) . . .

It appears to me that you are under the law. The only obedience that I am concerned about is the obedience of Jesus Christ. He was obedient unto death. Philippians 2:8. Your obedience is tainted with sin and pride.

And it appears to ME that you reject the very Scriptures that YOU purport to be your SOLE Authority . . .

Rom. 1:5-6

“… Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the OBEDIENCE OF FAITH for the sake of his name among all the nations, including you who are called to belong to Jesus Christ,

The obedience to the faith is the preaching of the Gospel. Christians are to take the Gospel to the whole world. It is the last thing that Jesus told them to do. "Go into the world and preach the Gospel to everyone". Nothing about starting a Catholic church.

The obedience of faith includes ALL WORKS that God prepared for us – INCLUDING spreading the Gospel, which IS a work.

YOU don't get to tell God which of the works He prepared for you is "worth" doing . . .

I don't believe that the Lord said go into the world and start a religion. The Gospel is the entrance into eternal life, not a religion.

STUDY your Bible, son – it’s BOTH . . .

James 1:27
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this:
to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

James was more of a Pharisee than a Christian. The book of James was directed to law keeping Jews, James 1:1. James sent men to spy on Peter and Barnabas, Galatians 2:11-16. James wanted to circumcise Gentile believers, Acts 15-1-21. I don't consider the book of James to be a good source of doctrine. Many Christian scholars believe that the book of James should not have been included in the cannons.

That’s because the Epistle of James is at ODDS with Protestantism.
This is precisely why your Protestant Father, Martin Luther wanted it jettisoned from the Canon of Scripture. James was a Christian – not a Pharisee.

EVERY SINGLE word written in his Epistle was breathed-out by GOD Himself (2 Timothy 3:16).
YOU don't get to edit His sacred Word . . .

I am sure that James came into a full understanding of the Gospel and justification by faith at a later date. The book of James was one of the first books of the Bible. Many in the early church were Judaizers. They just could not give up the law.

And YOU are missing the point – AGAIN.

The Epistle of James, along with the other 26 Books of the New Testament are the GOD-BREATHED (2 Tin. 3:16). There are NO mistakes.

The only errors are from YOU . . .

The Bible is an honest book, it does not hide the sins and the mistakes of God's people.
