We are birthed in the Spirit.....via the Holy Spirit.....by the will of God .
What do you do with Acts 21:38 I will post it for you being it seems it is not in your bible
Acts 2:38 Peter said to them, "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Now read it closely It says that in this baptism the remission of sin is given and the indwelling spirit of Christ is given it is spelled out right there for you you can not read it any other way it is clearly recorded so that you can believe and trust in what God has said.
It is a water baptism that John the baptist said that Jesus would baptize with as the scripture makes clear in Acts 10:47&48
Acts 10:47 Surely no one can refuse the water for these to be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we did, can he?"
48 And he ordered them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to stay on for a few days.
It is where the indwelling spirit is given just as it says and the scriptures proves it to be true in Acts 19:1-5
Acts 19:1 It happened that while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul passed through the upper country and came to Ephesus, and found some disciples. 2 He said to them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?" And they
said to him, "No, we have not even heard whether there is a Holy Spirit." 3 And he said, "Into what then were you baptized?" And they said, "Into John's baptism." 4 Paul said, "John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in Him who was coming after him, that is, in Jesus." 5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
The bible is clear on what the word of God says about the baptism in the name of Jesus Christ some just will not accept the truth of what is recorded but that does not change the biblical truth of the matter. We have to read the word as it is recorded and stop trying to make it fit our preconceived ideal of what it says . It is clear as to how one is born again it is spelled out clearly in Romans chapter six
Romans 6:3 Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have become united with
Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be
in the likeness of His resurrection, 6 knowing this, that our old self was crucified with
Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; 7 for he who has died is freed from sin
Romans 6:3 clearly says that the baptism in the name of Jesus Christ the one that John said Jesus would baptize with is a spiritual baptism in the fact that it is where God is doing the spiritual work of transforming us from dead in sin to alive in Christ we are putting on Christ we are joining him at the cross be are being born again and it is through the work of God in the baptism in the name of Jesus Christ just as God had recorded so that we can believe and be born again through the words that he has given us.
Please please brothers and sisters stop arguing against the words God had recorded for us to trust and believe in and accept his word form truth and unite with him in his word.
