We were created with free will, but it wasn’t without limits. Obedience to the Creator was required from day one.Study and maybe enjoy it,maybe not, maybe hate the world that do the opposite of God.
We are not under the Law of Moses but still under the principles behind the law that were restated by Jesus. But we are not under the law,
Everything we could do but not everything Be beneficial.
God told the first humans in Eden why he put us here...he told them to “fill the earth” with their children and to “subdue” the land outside of the garden. If they had obeyed their Creator in the beginning, and hadn’t lost access to “the tree of life” they would still be here with us enjoying the fruits of their labors...the whole earth would have been a paradise by now...enjoyed by all mankind in peace and love.Hard to tell what really Is our role here, a game player??? Watchman??? Or observer???
Believer???Rebellious?
The Bible tells us that we really can’t even imagine the life God has in store for those who love him.I wish I could skip this earthly time and fast-forward to the time of the trial. Or perhaps I don't know exactly what I will face. Is it the world I expect, or the world that God expects? It's hard to imagine what the difference is between them. My thoughts are limited.
We have an expectation that things should be perfect, because originally, they were...it was a perfect start but, a selfish individual decided to derail God’s plans for us....and take his place....he wanted what the humans would give to God.....but instead of just eliminating the rebels, as he could have, the Creator decided to turn the rebellion into a very important lesson on the value of obedience....giving us first hand experience of where the abuse of free will can leads us. Would we ever want to go back to this life?Perhaps the most important thing is our consistent mindset when facing God. Only by maintaining this consistent self can God correctly prepare what we need for the future. Don't wait until your fantasies become unrealistic delusions. When God has prepared it, and yet you are still not satisfied.
Are you familiar with logical fallacies? There is one called Strawman. Invoking the Nazi's is a common form of Strawman. Hence, Goodwin's Law. It shows you've lost the argument.guess you would have been a faithful guard in the German concentration camps.
Pray to God but mind you, keep your powder dry. Oliver Cromwell.“The Scriptures are the food, the comfort, the armor, and weapon of the Christian.” - William Tyndale

Wrong. Have you not read the first thing the Messiah will do upon his return is to slaughter his enemies? The unitarian slaughterer of his enemies has it wrong: Christians who do not kill their enemies have not placed themselves on a moral high ground; they have been placed on the moral high ground by the Messiah.
Because the teaching is true. You just can't get over the fact of some of Jesus teachings that go against your over-spiritualized world view. He commanded us to buy a sword and it was not because he advocated acquiring dust collectors. The Crusaders knew this to be true. Why is it hard for you to say to the one who is teaching us “you are not a disciple of Jesus if you aren’t armed, ready to kill” that his teaching is false?
Because the teaching is true.

Well, you are not the final judge, Wrangler.Sounds like you're a Nazi. Not an argument, at all, for not following Christ's commands.
The Crusaders knew this to be true.
Oh my! How dare a Christian educate a non-Christian on the teachings of Christ that the non-Christian doesn't agree with! Let's get the moderator's to put an end to this.He answered for you @Debp. Did he tell me what you would have told me? If he did, that’s fine and I have a follow-up question for you. If he didn’t, you should have a word with him about it.
What is this; another Non-sequitor. The point is Christ's return will immediately be followed by him slaughtering his enemies. Waiting or not waiting for him is irrelevant.I’ve already responded to your question and my answer remains the same - Wait for the Messiah to return.
Christ's command to buy a sword implying we have to be prepared to use it
