Hi there,
So I took a very little interpretation of Revelation 13:12 and I came to the conclusion, that since I am on Earth and at war with the sin in my members (as Paul says in the letters), I am at the very least going to be tempted to worship the beast. Now, I thought about it and thought about it, and I came to the conclusion that "I can't deny that it is tempting to worship the beast" (I speak out of a love for the world, as God has). From this, the Holy Spirit was able to convict me, that if I truly want to worship the beast, I should repent. So now that is my basic stance, on where the rest of the world sits in relationship to worshipping the beast: they need to repent (just as I did, or more).
What I won't tolerate, is the Devil coming to me again and again, saying "worship the Beast more and more!" No, and this is the stance I think all my Christian brothers and sisters should take: I have dealt with my sin, in my desire to worship the Beast and have claimed the forgiveness of God through the blood of Jesus, in His Name Amen. After that, the Devil has nothing more he can say.
Now what I am not saying is "I can take the mark of the anti-christ and just repent of the sin, while I still have the mark" No! Cut the mark out of your forehead or out of your forearm, if you have it. I am not condemning you, I am saying don't put yourself in a position where you have to condemn yourself. This is about reaching people, who don't think there is any sin, in adding to the desire to worship the anti-christ and identifying with perpetual sin. The Lord knows whom He can save and whom He cannot. Let us not abuse this.
The time is not far from at hand (they have designed the mark, already, it has just not been enforced) and the world is ready to forget the tribulation that has been on the Earth from the beginning. It will be a blessing that the world forgets the danger of the old world, because it will not think to threaten us, but this is precisely the complacency that the Devil will seek to take advantage of, which is why we must be absolutely certain we don't continue to worship the beast or be in a position on earth where we have no foundation against it.
I wholly agree that the Holy Spirit is able to protect us against the temptation to worship the beast, if that's who you want to trust. But that is the same Holy Spirit that said "don't come to the altar, while your brother has something against you; first reconcile yourself to your brother and then come to the altar (gospels, from memory). If you are going to "just" trust the Holy Spirit (which is good), be sure that you praise God, for being able to trust the Holy Spirit. Be sure that you know how to lock the door - as Lot had to, in the days of Sodom and Gamorrah. That's what Jesus said: "remember Lot's wife". Be sure you are penitent about the distance between you and the world. Revelation 13:12 says "if you are on Earth, you will be forced to worship" as believers, your interpretation of that should be that "if you want to leave Earth, and you haven't properly resisted the temptation: you need to repent".
Heaven may dwell in you, but that is precisely what they want to kill.
May God have mercy on our souls.
