Why is that?
What are you so insecure about?
Odd."He was saved as saved could be."
There are some even here that would disagree with that assessment, but no matter, sure thing sport.![]()
I'm a girl.U gals are starting 2 sound like cats fighting over a dead mouse !I'm all fer bed.G'nite B/Blessed
See this how you done it the last time you ran further away from the convserstion. good byeI think it was the Apostle Paul, although Jesus was good with a snappy remark, or do you really believe there were people walking around with big old beams of wood in their eyes?
John 13:10Let's make this tougher for the slackers. What did Jesus mean when He said, "He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you." John 13:10
Hint: Christianity was originally called "the way."
i've come to realize that if i don't allow my current perspective on a matter to become a belief that i feel compelled to then defend, i am much more open-minded to a better perspective on a matter once i have matured enough to understand it. So no, i would not say it otherwise, but i also realize that it is not the final, absolute truth, not ever. i hope! :)Would not say it other wise would you?

i suggest that what you have done is admit yourself into a suggested group, an ideal, that Scripture goes to some lengths to define as accepted, by way of justifying your ego, and that the Book even invited this perspective, by way of revealing where our hearts are at. See bc the next step is to then identify who these are, right, and really what is the purpose for this? It is so that a them can be established, see, for purposes of different treatment essentially, right? A way to not love your "enemies," iow (another play on one's perceptions, as the Book clearly tells us who our real enemies are elsewhere)Why would God say we are Holy sanctified, new man mew creation if we were not. Dont take my word for it. See heres the problem here with most people and I never thought you would fall into this. Bu t I see you doing it in your last few posts. You are talking as if I said it :) I never God did.
yes, in a very clever way imo, as parents are wont to doI never God did.
not at all! i understand that "Jesus did not die for your sins" is attacking a sacred cow, and you might justifiably feel quite differently. So, if you detect some...mumbo-jumbo, bam make your case and let's see! Bc of course there is a sense in which Christ died for us, but the point is to reveal the much more popular counterfeit, not to deny Christ. You looking upset at me for some reason?
little? okAnd I see you have a little follower.
who is this "we" though, see, you have just made a "they."No we are the redemmed now
yet, many will cry "Lord, Lord"You would come back. even if you never you are still redeemed.
ha, how long does it take someone to change their minds? This why "only God knows when," imoWhat "sanctification" did he go through if this is supposed to be an ongoing process? How long is this process supposed to take?
your Catholic is showing, lolIt has everything to do with it.
It's been answered.
I'll try one more time...
Justification is immediate and happens when one converts to becoming a Christian and serving God. God does all the work. Justification is a legal process and is declared by God as to the state of your being saved. At that moment...
Sanctification is a life-long process. It requires our cooperation. The Holy Spirit is living with us, or in us. He helps us to grow in our faith. He helps us to know when we're sinning, it's called conviction; He is our paraclete; He stands by our side and helps us to turn down sin; He gives us the strength we need.
Jesus had to leave us and return to the Father, being that He is the 2nd person of the Holy Trinity. However, He did say He would not leave us alone.
John 16:7
Sanctification involves our doing God's will, following His lead, believing in Jesus and loving God, ourselves and our neighbor and doing whatever that love would entail.
A man hanging from a cross can't do much, he doesn't have much time either. He confessed, he showed a desire to be with Jesus. He was saved as saved could be.
A person in a wheelchair can't do much. He could MAYBE pray. Maybe not even that. But he could have love for God and God knows who loves Him.
If one loves God, they DO tend to want to walk through life with Him.
This walk through life is called sanctification.
amen, faith is religified at every turn, innit?Do these guys fight like this all the time ?????Saved/sanctified/transmogrified/& re-fryed beans/go work in a homeless kitchen & see if they care !Einstien said,"I seek 2 know the mind of God/everything else is just details !"Time 4 bed/play nice !!!
NO!your Catholic is showing, lol
