One day John Wesley was walking with a very troubled man who expressed his doubt in the goodness of God. The man said- " I just don't know what I shall do with all this worry.."
Wesley saw a cow in a field looking over a stone wall.
Wesley said.."Do you know why that cow is looking over the wall?"
"No said the worried man, I don't."
Wesley said.."The cow is looking over the wall because she cannot look through it. And that is just what you must do with your wall of worry, look over it and above it, as she is."

Faith enables us to get above our circumstances and look at Christ, who is over all things!

" Looking unto Jesus..."

God, grant me the wisdom to trust You with what I don’t understand.
Grant me the patience to wait on You, not just answers from You.
Grant me the grace to be content in the midst of unanswered questions and unfulfilled dreams.
Help me look to You not just for answers, but as the Ultimate Answer.
You are my answer and I trust You.

Amen.

Was worth the login just to say, Glad you can see,

Joh 6:32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.
Joh 6:33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
Joh 6:34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.
Joh 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

and so we learn from Him when we eat of Him,

Joh 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Joh 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Broken walls were a sign of Jerusalem’s vulnerability (weakness) and are a sign of our own. If we have had a skirmish with someone that has left us hurt and angry it leaves a gaping place where resentment can reside. And resentment is one rowdy fellow who kicks dust in everyone’s face. I’m sure that is why we are directed in Scripture, “to not let the sun set upon our wrath.”

God’s grace is sufficient for you for today, for what you face, for what you fear, for where you are going, and for forever. Rest in His grace.

"And the LORD will continually guide you, and satisfy your desire in scorched places, and give strength to your bones; and you will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail” Isaiah 58:11.

Whenever we are doubtful as to our course, we submit our judgment absolutely to the Spirit of God, and ask Him to shut against us every door but the right one.
While continuing along the path which we have been already treading. We abide in the calling in which we are called, unless we are clearly told to do something else.
The Spirit of Jesus waits to be to us, what He was to Paul.
We go forward with enlarged heart and firm step.

God’s love for us is deeper than our shame could ever be. It is higher than our hopes, and wider than the chasm of fear that may sometimes leave a big, lonely place in our soul.
Whatever we fear, we lay it down at the cross.
Let it fade under the shadow of God’s love for us.
Let His voice of love be the loudest one you hear ever hour.
No one will ever love us more or better than God.

God can take what seems ordinary and do something extraordinary.
Just as He turned Moses’ staff into a slimy, squirmy serpent, God can take the everyday things in our life and use them for His amazing purposes.

Our cell phone can become a way to remind someone of God’s love.
Our kitchen can offer hospitality to a hurting heart.
Our car can provide a much-needed ride. Consider today how God can use the ordinary in our life for His glory.....you will be blessed!

"Some of the storms of life come suddenly: a great sorrow, a bitter disappointment, a crushing defeat. Some come slowly. They appear upon the ragged edges of the horizon no larger than a man's hand, but, trouble that seems so insignificant spreads until it covers the sky and overwhelms us.

Yet it is in the storm that God equips us for service. When God wants an oak He plants it on the moor where the storms will shake it and the rains will beat down upon it, and it is in the midnight battle with elements that the oak wins its rugged fibre and becomes the king of the forest. "

There is not one thing that comes into our life that hasn't first been filtered through God's perfect plan for us. Even the mistakes we may make and the disappointment we may feel can still be part of God's plan for our good.

He wastes nothing in our life. He can bring beautiful results even from the bad things we experience. Give God our broken pieces and our bruised places today and watch how He can use them as the building blocks for something even better in our life.

Lord, You are good and You work all things together for our good. Help us see the good You are accomplishing when our circumstances are bad and let us recognize Your goodness when we think things in our life should be better.
Amen.

Sometimes it takes a thorn to show us how healing is just not enough. God has something wider, higher, deeper, broader, more miraculous, and more enduring in mind for us: His grace.
Don’t settle for a merely adequate and temporary answer to your prayer, when God may be granting you the lasting and deeper gift of grace.

Sometimes we just need to wipe the weariness and worry from our eyes so we can see God more clearly.
Life's heartaches and stress can blur our vision of who God is and who we are. Today, ask God to open your eyes so you can see Him, His plan, and His purposes. Everything else will come into focus.

Lord, give me a right view of You. When I see You clearly, everything in my life will come into focus.
Open the eyes of my heart Lord. Amen.

Psalms 8:3-9
"When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,
What is man that You are mindful of him,
And the son of man that You visit him?
For You have made him a little lower than the angels,
And You have crowned him with glory and honour
."
