I thought to list a few things from the bible that we can contemplate as to the nature of the New Covenant. The whole thing is based on the impossible. We all know that Jesus did the impossible as if it was ordinary....but so did His followers.
When Peter was imprisoned and the chains fell away, the guards fell into a trance and the angel of God opened the doors...
That's impossible!
When Ananias heard the voice of the Lord to go lay hands on Saul to receive his sight back and be filled with the Holy Spirit...
That's impossible!
When in Antioch the Holy Spirit spoke audibly for all to hear....a voice directly from heaven..
That's impossible!
When Paul and Silas were imprisoned in Philippi and the earthquake made the chains fall away and the doors open..
That's impossible!
When Paul spoke to the sorcerer that he should be blind for a while...so that he instantly became blind..
That's impossible!
My purpose here is that we get in on the fun! We need to start asking the Lord for the impossible.
