As for "all being in the same spot", that is indeed true of men, but God is higher, and for the actual truth we must seek Him and His knowledge. You can't choose the God I serve. He will find you and change you. That is what separates Him form any other 'myth'. Only He can effect your soul and regenerate you. And I pray that that is His plan for your life.

The Glory of God is something that you must experience before you can fully understand it, but I would say that ultimately what makes Him so great is his perfect love and perfect justice. Look outside, and see the trees, and birds, and life. See the night sky full of a thousand stars, and see the clouds hanging over us, and the flowers that bloom. That is the workmanship of my God, the creation of His own hand. What makes Him so great? His creation, His love and His justice.
