Of course!
Nobody's perfect.
You said you're new to Christianity...well, welcome to the club.
We're all new...nobody knows everything.
It's just important to learn what Jesus taught us about God.

And if you hate your neighbor...well, maybe he's the type that's hard to like.
If you continue in your Christian walk, you'll find that your hate will grow to be less and less. You look like a young guy -- life is long and it's our progress that counts.

Yeah, it's even possible to not hate our enemies in war. Hard to believe, but with most all wars, those who wind up having to fight it often don't have a clue as to what got it started. WWI during Xmas had a strange thing happen. Both sides came out of their trenches and observed Xmas together. The generals didn't like it.

I saw a movie about this story.
It was very beautiful.
Every human just wants peace and to be with family.
War is a horror we can't seem to let go.

Thanks for posting this!

I grew up with my grandfather. He told me stories of his life.He told me that he grew up with God and that God had a son. His son was a good devil and created red and his father created blue and he created green, and coffee and I grew up with friends that were related to them in my neighborhood. My brother wasn't there but when he was we played basketball and games on Saturday. My grandfather passed. He used to buy us gifts for the kids and play volleyball with us. He said one time that God instructed his angels to decide what the color red was going to be. It seemed like God was the boss but his angels were cooler.

Not to beat a dead horse but again, i don't know anyone who currently believes in eternal security of the believer (as i do) and at the same time think they can sit on the couch binging on netflix until they die because in their minds their ticket to heaven has been punched.

On the contrary. Those that i see regularly are not only fruit producing but very conscious of the lack of fruit in our lives. Its the ' i know i could have done more ' scenario. And one more thing. Eternal life isn't obtained by a 'living faith'. As though you are working your tail off for the kingdom and when you die then and only then do you know if you did enough. A living faith is simply proof of that life of God inside us. They will know us by our fruit. Fruit is the evidence of the saved, its not the cause.
It's not obtained by living faith? wow

I don't think the results are like magic.
I think that we follow the teachings of Christ and that we WILL have a much better life even though it may not seem so....simply because it would have been much worse if we DID NOT know God,,,

Also, the result is at the end of life,,,,
Do we want to spend eternity with God?
Then we should keep Him near to us.

So, it's a double win I'd say.
Jesus says that in his father's house are many mansions. If we could obtain heaven or the kingdom of GOD... Then we could get a mansion?

I can be assured I'll go to heaven. I passed the test and won the race set before us with endurance and had good counsellors at the church and here I like the church and the Bible and Jesus and it does interest me.

David, if you are uncertain, you should sit down with someone and talk about this face-to-face. Someone who believes and preaches the Gospel.
I apologize for that I know it's wrong. Being saved is the richness of God worked and willed in us as a new being.
