Well if you are satisfied , go with it then!!

For myself I have read that the bride is not yet ready , I have -
" A better Hope" "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen......
having seen the promise afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country
."

Rev 19 tells me :-
6 "And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready
."

We have seen nothing yet!! :)
If this hasn’t happened, then God has a lot of illegitimate children... out of wedlock.

A new way of transmitting the proper image and likeness was established. And Jesus can also overshadow any of us to correct us, to give us the correct image and likeness -- spiritually of course. It doesn't matter if we are physically male or female. Such things are irrelevant.
This would be Christ formed in you.

What do you mean Helen, I don’t quite get your post?

YOU said ..quote:-
"Hardcore to the bone on homosexuality, will never accept it."

So I said ..well I hope you feel the same way about anger, lies , self-righteousness and all the rest of the gang that goes along with it.

God does not define things as BIG sins and LITTLE sins...flesh is flesh..so ALL the sins thereof will not inherit the Kingdom...not just homosexuals ( which He didn't speak about) but He did speak about 'offending the little ones'... .

There is no 1-10 on ranking sin.

That is what I was saying...

Personally, I believe the sacredness of the marriage bed must not be defiled by acts that only homosexual men and women do.
If we are going to discuss such matters, I will ask a question about Leviticus. What specific act is being prohibited here:

Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

From my own knowledge of biology, two men cannot do what a man and a woman can. How is it possible for a man to lie with another man the way he would with a woman?

So, this 'here and now' is as good as it gets then?
There is no future Face to Face yet to come with the Father?

Okay...you go with that then...but as for me and my house.... :D

Don’t know why but you have brought to mind the things I’ve heard said concerning Luke 17:32-35 Remember Lot's wife. [33] Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. [34] I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. [35] Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Because He is waiting for the fullness of time...and the marriage feast with His Bride....the time has not yet come . :)
I think Jesus was like God both male and female, the way "the man" was originally formed before begin divided into male and female. I see Jesus being divided like that on the cross when blood and water came from his side, the way Eve was formed from the side. That blood and water became the Church. He went to Heaven but the Church remained on earth to bear his children.

Agree with that.

Agree with that too. But I also believe via study that all of the Church does not become The Bride...the Bride ( Rev) are those who overcome , called out of the Church. ALL can come and be a part of the bride .."Many are called, few were choses " I read once it means 'do not choose to be chosen ' ..ie, don't wish to pay the price of overcoming for a place in the Bride.

He went to Heaven but the Church remained on earth to bear his children.

Never heard that one before...
He said that we was going to heaven to "prepare a place"....
As the bridegrooms of old went to prepare a place in their Fathers house..

You people make me laugh, you probably have a rainbow flag hanging from your door.
maybe you should polish your halo For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. nobody condones homosexuality

That is true...but He is still building , we are lively stones...not until Rev 21 does The House come together....
Hebrews 3:6 KJV
[6] But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

John 14:23 KJV
[23] Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

I don't limit Jesus' coming for His Bride to a one time event. While I see patterns in it, I also see exceptions. I think Jesus returned for His Bride in the First Century and has again and again and will return another time.

I also distinguish between the Bride and the "guests" invited to the wedding.

I base that belief mostly on the woman in Revelation who has a child who is caught up to Heaven. Then she is cast to the earth and has other children.

Yes Pearl, it's acceptance is much more sinister than other sins, I would much more tolerate living together than homosexual activity. What about you?
Homosexuality is abominable in God's eyes, it followed the death penalty. Pot smoking and living together was not punishable by death. This is why it's acceptance has reached a different level of egregiousness!
All sin is 'punishable' by spiritual death. In God's eyes sin is sin - falling well below his benchmark. I do not condone homosexuality but people have a choice just as we ourselves do. And it isn't our job to judge them - God will do that. But it is our job to show them a better way and it is our job to love them as we are directed to love our neighbours as ourselves. Homosexuality is not going to go away any time soon so what do we do? We must ask ourselves, 'What would Jesus do?' 'How would he treat the men and women who practice unnatural sex acts?' We need to look at the nature of God - who is Love personified to get the answer to that. And perhaps people have differing views on how He would treat them but only His views matter. But I think we'll get closer to them with gentleness rather than aggression. And then we can show them what God says about it in a way they maight actually listen to.
