you know why so many people will be found still sitting here when He comes back, because they wont give Him the time of day, insist on telling God what He can and cannot do, because the bible says. Is the bible greater than God and Christ is the dead letter greater than the living Word whom is Christ. What does that have to do with anything that Paul wrote about the position of women preaching? Nothing.

No just men.. No where does the bible claim to be the written word of God. it even states that Jesus is the word of God, why do people refuse Him who is the truth, do they think the bible and knowledge can save the, Was it not Jesus said,

2Co_3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

But people would rather argue and bicker of how smart they are and how much knowledge they have and refuse to go to the one who is the truth.

And you know Him how? Stop being a hypocrite and posting scripture while saying scripture is not how we get to know Christ. We get to know Him by scripture, by the Holy Trinity and revelation and all uphold the written word for the written word speaks of Him . This is weird, the rejection of scripture . Every grafted in assembly has gotten to know Christ because of the written word received by the Elect Jew. There is no other thing that assemblies are built upon. No you want to remove the foundation for some felonious doctrine preaching NO foundational doctrine. Tell me what nation or kingdom is established without a written code of ethics and laws?

Scripture is not how we know Christ, we know Christ because as a christian we have an open door to Him. You could never know you wife by reading a book about her, do you think thats going to change with Christ, and what will your excuse be, when he says, I called you but you would not come...

Everything around us 'speaks' of God. God has made it so, ..so that no man can ever make the excuse that 'they didn't know' about the things of God. He has shown Himself through His creation.

I have to disagree here...the bible is only 'God breathed ' now, when God moves upon it and quickens it to the reader...
If it wasn't so then everyone who picks up a bible to read would believe it and be saved!
When we each were saved , born again, or whatever a person calls it, it was because The Holy Spirit breathed upon and quickened it to us each personally...

That is NOT what she said. She said that the in the sun we see the face of God, in the wind we hear the voice of God. That is not the same thing as what Romans 1:20 says.

The Bible is the very WORD of God. Christ is God. Therefore, the Bible is the word of Christ as well! To know the Bible and what it says is to get closer to Christ. How else are you to know Christ? The Bible is all you have.
