Catholic confession (the Sacrament of Penance) allows the forgiveness of sins committed after baptism - “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1John 1:9).That is my understanding - the priest represents Christ.

Since you find that “Super creepy”, you have a problem, because it is actually super scriptural - John 20:21-23.

If she was so “unafraid” and convinced she was doing the right thing, WHY hider her name and the name of the supposed convent??

- Referring to the “Stations of the Cross” – the common name for the Catholic prayer commemorating the passion of our Lord – she referred to it as “the fourteen steps that Jesus carried the cross of Calvary”. There’s not a Catholic alive who would refer to it as this.

- Referring to “going to confession” – she referred to it as “going to confessional”.
Again – you won’t find a SINGLE Catholic pon planet earth who would refer to it as this.
