Luke 1:43 says Mary is the mother of God. That's good enough for me..
But we are not to take the blessing of Mary beyond what it was and call her, for example, the "mother of God"

Did Jesus say “search the scriptures for in them ye think ye have eternal life....,”Nowhere does the Bible tell us to study only the Scriptures - that is a man-made tradition. On the contrary, we are told that the Church is the "pillar and foundation of the truth". So if you should study anything, it's the teachings of the Church. Therefore I recommend that you replace the Bible as your primary and sole source of truth with the Catechism of the Catholic Church. In this way, you will learn the correct interpretation of Scripture and a lot more besides.
So what?..here’s what.....If the Church was initially nameless, so what?
Funny, my grandmother, mother, my siblings and I were kneeling and praying to statues and you say we did not learn that from the RCC.No Catholic is taught to talk to statues. What happened was, you're such a dunce that you totally misunderstood what Catholic statues are for. Sadly, you're still a dunce, and you still totally misunderstand Catholic teachings.
LolNow the public can read the Bible and millions of them get it WRONG. That's because only the Catholic Church is guided by the Holy Spirit to correctly interpret the Scriptures.
Since the church had no name,
It’s an act alright.I don't replace Jesus Christ with anything or anyone. The Catholic Church acts as a mediator between mankind and "the man, Christ Jesus." .That's one reason for Jesus creating the Church.
No official name givenI believe that it was called "The Way" and "the sect of the Nazarenes."
And they were first called Christians at Antioch. No official name given
What is the church name? And they were first called Christians at Antioch.
"The Way" (Acts of the Apostles 9:2) or "the sect of the Nazarenes" (Acts of the Apostles 24:5).What is the church name?
outsiders. They called themselves 3 different official church names?
Or, outsiders called them names?
By whom? They were still names given to the church.
