That's silly RCC doctrine.
Jesus is not a chalky blessed wafer.
Jesus is light.
If He can be “light” why can’t he be a “wafer”? Do you not believe all things are possible with God?

Jesus is light.
Jesus ordained a memorial feast for Christians to coincide with the Jews memorial feast of the passover.
1 Cor 11 depicts the feast in action.
It is a sacred feast, to make the body of Christ(Christians) equal, having all things common.
The RCC changed it into a wafer exchange, from a phony priest to so called laity.
So, tell me Einstein - when did this "change" take place?

I can't wait to hear this . . .

FINALLY...a Protestant that recognizes that what occurred at the Last Supper was started by The (Catholic) Church. You say wafer we actually use bread....just like the very first Catholics did at The Last Supper

You are infilled with His light, you don't ingest him.

There is a difference.

Fact is, since RCC folks do not practice receiving the Holy Ghost, they have to attempt to eat it weekly.

Worse than that, they defecate "Christ" out the back side the next day!

The Episcopal Church condones homosexuality and same-sex marriage, doesn't it?
I remember reading the views of Episcopal Bishop, Shelby Spong, years ago - pure 666.

I don't know I am not a part of the Episcopal Church. I wouldn't put it past them.

Gee, ummmmmm - where'd ya go??
Question too tough??

Can you at LEAST give me the name of the "decree"??
The RCC slippery slope started with your Pope Constantine, then the chalk wafer etc gradually became the ingestation and eventual defecation of Jesus.

WHEN was that??
In the 4th century, per Constantine.

He created a unification of Pagans, Christians and Judaism....the RCC....the universal religion.

The chalk wafer evolved after that.

Does your holy wafer get digested or does it go to heaven from your intestines, bypassing the rear?

Since you teach you eat Jesus(transubstantiation), then you obviously poop Jesus.

Wow, the RCC never thought of that, huh?

No wonder you think of his mother Mary as the head of him.

Yup - that's precisely the kind of ignorant drivel I thought you'd say.
Time to be humiliated again . . .

Ummmm - as I educated you earlier - Ignatius of Antioch was writing about the "Eucharist" about TWO HUNDRED years BEFORE Constantine:
Ignatius of Antioch
Follow your bishop, every one of you, as obediently as Jesus Christ followed the Father. Obey your clergy too as you would the apostles; give your deacons the same reverence that you would to a command of God. Make sure that no step affecting the Church is ever taken by anyone without the bishop’s sanction. The sole Eucharist you should consider valid is one that is celebrated by the bishop himself, or by some person authorized by him. Where the bishop is to be seen, there let all his people be; just as, wherever Jesus Christ is present, there is the Catholic Church (Letter to the Smyrneans 8:2 [A.D. 107]).

All Constantine did was to make Christianity legal. He didn't make it the "religion of Rome" - he simply legalized it in his Edict of Milan.

Finally, Einstein - it would be kind of difficult for Constantine to have been a Pope since he wasn't even a Catholic until he was Baptized - on his DEATHBED. Don't you EVER tire of being proven wrong??

You REALLLLLY need to study your history, sparky . . .

Watching you say all of this to Christ as He judges you ought to be interesting.
I hope they have popcorn for the rest of us who are watching . . .

He said to the Apostles, ""Take and eat; this is my body."

Did the Apostles "ingest him"? Or did Jesus lie to them?

How does one receive the Holy Ghost?

Curious Mary
