THe angels never had sex with women - they never TOOK WIVES on earth (married nor given in marriage, nor dwelt with).
They are not "the same kind", and as

God says every kind (that can reproduce) reproduces after IT'S OWN KIND.

The myth of angels having sex with women started in babylon or catholicism, centuries ago, to deceive people,
and it has deceived billions.

Ick! What exactly is platonic kissing? Sounds like those fake hugs you get in church sometimes that kinda make you wanna wipe the feeling off whenever you can get far enough away, Lol.

I understand your point, Pearl, and I know you don't mean it quite like that. But if I think someone were to offer me a "platonic kiss" I'd dodge and put this fella in my place instead:

Platonic kissing is when you are expressing love, and that's all.

Have you loved others so much that when you see them you give a kiss of love without even thinking about it? Some guy's hairy neck?

Can you truly not imagine a love that is so far above what we know here, that the love we know here never again comes into mind? To me, this question is like saying, well, when I change from a cat to a man, will I still get to be in heat?

There are four kinds of love: Familial between members of families, platonic between friends, erotic which is sexual or romantic between lovers and agape love which is God's love. So if love remains in heaven I can't see that erotic love would be one of the forms it would take.

Hey, sister. Thanks for responding. Just getting back to the forum.

Let me explain something that puts me to thought on this subject. My personality is such that in order to feel truly cared for I need to feel as though I am truly needed. This presents something of a dilemma when thinking about God's love for us, unless you think of God in terms of needing us, and truly needing our love. Personally I think He does, but some would say that's sacrilegde. But my point is, I would always love Him. I've given my life for Him. But when I think of being fulfilled in the sense of someone truly needing me, it is more natural for me to think in terms of another person than the Lord Himself, though I do believe He actually does need our love rather than it just wanting it.

Does that make any sense?

It does make sense. I figured my answer wouldn’t do, but I gave it a shot. It’s impossible for me to put into words how I experience the love of God. All I can say is that it’s like no other love, and in heaven we will know and love Him fully and intimately as He knows and loves us.

Thats what i though too, we wouldn't have that innate drive for sexual pleasure which drives the procreation of humans on earth.
But after thinking about Genesis 6 i tend to think now that its more probable seeing that the sons of God can procreate

(if you mean angels can procreate a way they were not made to, with someone not of their kind, contrary to what God says , by mis-interpreting sons of God to mean angels and women had babies, which is worse than a fable and is contrary to all God's Word and all God's Plan and all God's Purpose) .
