Not "totally ineffective." Flu vaccines usually contain antibodies for several of the latest strains of the flu virus. If a new virulent strain emerges too late to be part of the vaccination effort, the vaccine that year may not be very good -- certainly not as good as years when a new virulent strain hasn't emerged.

Work is being done also on new types of vaccines which could work on several strains since they would be related to key molecules of the DNA shared by all the strains.

So also with covid... Vaccinating the entire planet as Bill Gates suggests is just a scam. Next year the same vaccine won't work. And whatever it costs governments, aka us, is going straight into the pockets of Bill and Melinda. They are playing on the fears of people who are essentially cognitively blind. And I haven't gone into the goal of global tyranny through one world Government.

People have gotten so upset with Dr. Fauci for daring to express disagreement with Trump, that he's getting death threats. Something is seriously wrong with the kind of Trump supporter who is that extreme in his paranoia about Fauci; but he reads junk on the internet about Fauci that seems to explain Trump's failures, and since he loves Trump and wants to keep loving him, he buys the explanation. Other people may not adore Trump but still believe rumors they hear about Fauci. It's a lot easier to besmirch someone's reputation than to clear it.

You have also accused me of attacking Trump because I dislike him personally. I don't know him. I can only go by what he says and does. When I post here about him, it's not vague unsubstantiated charges made up out of thin air. Most of the time, I'm responding to the real things he's said and done. There are court cases now about him -- and when I discuss them, I don't say he's guilty because someone accused him. I am careful about what I say. I say so-and-so has accused him of this or that. Why would I say he's guilty when I don't know if he is or isn't?

As for a vaccine? Trump is right to hope for one. He might even get reelected if he can brag about it being developed in the US. Judging how reckless he is with taxpayers' money, I'd guess he might be willing to spend trillions to the drug company who manufactures it. Maybe not. He's talking a lot like a "socialist" when it comes to regulating the price of drugs.

One big problem as I see it i show big and powerful corporations are allowed to become under the guise of "free enterprise." The problem I have with Gates is that Microsoft is so big and powerful. It has some competition but it is still overwhelmingly dominant. Now there's talk about it buying TikTok. I have the same problem with Facebook which keeps growing more powerful. In some ways, these companies have more power over us than our governments -- and we can't vote them out. I have the same problem with You Tube and Twitter. If they ban someone, people complain about it -- but few seem to see the real problem -- the lack of real competition.

Common sense, is basically a general idea that appears logical.

A surgical mask becomes contaminated the moment Your bare hands touch it.

X-Rays are neither seen, heard, felt, or tasted....but can be deadly...just like a virus.

Stepping a few feet away from the cone light projected on an intent to expose a particular body part, does not protect a person from what is called scatter radiation.

Wearing a mask does not protect a person from a virus that can penetrate a mask or become air born.

I highly doubt any medical degreed Person would claim assurance that wearing a mask Will Prevent A Covid Transmission.

And I find it interesting on how Dictating to wear a mask neglects to mention...
* wearing the same mask over and over, or after being stuffed in a pocket, purse, hanging on the rear-view mirror...is already contaminated.
( and BTW if the mask is not properly snugly fit over the nose and mouth at all times, it serves no purpose, but give a false security.)
I have seen , bandanas, kitchen towels, dirty surgical air gapped masks, upside down surgical masks, designer masks, masks not covering the nose, masks lifted to drink, drink, talk, on mannequins (LOL) ... and I'm sure they all had some (False) secure feeling.
* the health organizations are stymied. Telling people to wear a mask, wash, stay home, distance is the best they can do to appease the public.

When I was a teenager, my mother would say to me: "You'd argue with a fencepost." I've come to know how she felt. Let me assure you, most people are not prepared with a tissue. My daughter works at a hospital in the ICU where she watches people struggle to breathe because of people who won't wear masks and aren't prepared with a tissue.

The hospital in Farmington serves 8 other towns: Potosi, Park Hills, Ironton, Arcadia, Bonne Terre, Leadwood, Desloge, and Fredericktown.

There are no cases of Covid in the BJC hospital in Farmington and they had only one since this all started. The one case in this hospital survived using hydroxycroquine and zithromax. There have been no Covid deaths in this area, unless they died in another hospital out of the area. So the two deaths if they occurred, occurred somewhere out of the area.

I am pretty well connected to the community, if there were 462 cases, someone would have talked about it. And with all the fear mongering they are saying that only one went to the hospital? Business and traffic is near to normal here and few masks are seen unless you go into a corporate type store like Walmart or Walgreen’s. Have not seen masks in restaurants. The churches are open and I have seen a few masks there. The schools are going to open. Camping and lakes are open and boating in progress.

Masks or not, we have lost out rights and it will be long before we get them back, and things like being social will become an evil thing, that what is good is now declared evil, people will become less tolerant and more eager to dob one another in, just like china an North Korea, we have by stealth all being handed over to communism, the wealthy have all the money and every one else has nothing. Hypotheses notwithstanding, coughing or sneezing through a mask is less dangerous to those around you than is coughing or sneezing without one. Wear or don't wear as you see fit. I wear one in close quarters as a courtesy to those around me. I believe it is wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16).

I don't know I quit paying any attention to what they are telling us...I know transmission can happen when touching a surface that an infected person touched. That's why handwashing is the best defense.
IMHO if you are wearing the mask to protect those around you from getting sick then you shouldn't be out in public to begin with.
What do I know, I am just an RN....I will leave it to the experts.:)

He does, and He will. I see no reprieve from the tyranny about to be unleashed upon mankind, and in particular God's people. I see things getting only worse. Sorry to be so negative. But that is only from a worldly perspective. ON the spiritual plane, I see things getting better and better. Yes, there is going to be a shaking. The chaff will fall out; churches, when and if we get back to any semblance of normality in meeting together, will not have as many attending as previous, for several reasons. But those who remain faithful I believe and continue to grow closer to their Lord, will be the ones to experience great blessings and be used mightily in the future for God's kingdom before Jesus comes. We are at but the beginning of sorrows. There will be future crisis and each one will test us to the limit, and we will see I think a continuing widening between the church and the world. I believe we have seen this for some time. That gap however is growing exponentially and it will son erupt into violence and eventually legislation targeting the church. And nominal Christians and worldly churches will be at the forefront of those proposing that legislation as the genuine Christians will stand as a living testimony challenging their hypocrisy. Remember Elijah, John the Baptist, and the Spirit of Elijah in the last days.
