See the body language of my avatar. I know that look... The spiders make her nervous
See how shes very edgy, watchful, wings semi cocked ready for rapid deployment

Ok i'll fess up... Id always go for the poison first.

But we hade a visit from our cousins on Sunday in what was such an emotional gathering...
We haven't been able to visit each other for about 6 months now... U can try and say "oh but phone"... Na that doesn't not compare to being together, a kiss, a hug, eat together... Man it was too overdue...

Their son (my cousin) walked off the 12th level of a carpark...
We were talking about how loving he was, i never saw him act from anger... And his mum said
"Daniel wouldn't even hurt a fly. I jump when i see a bug and i can't rest until its dead. But Daniels stops me, gets the spider off the wall, and while im still screaming, he calmly takes it outside and comes back laughing at me... "
I broke down in tears, left the room for a bit...

Im never intentionally killing any creature, no matter what...
How many human souls are there... To God we must be something like ants... But His grace is just so great...

They are creatures. Living organisms. They are miraculous and super complicated. Only God has the knowledge and understanding to create such wonders. We are supposed to look after all our creatures. Part of the very first deal with Adam and Eve.

So no more fly spray... No zappers... No towels or shoes.
No more death to any creature great or small or beautiful or ugly
and the mosquito that sucks your blood thru that laser sharp proboscis? :)

I leave them alone for 2 reasons.
1. they eat bugs like roaches and flys
2. my cats like to play with them.

You need an E catagory.. lol
Hugs

Yes, I looked for that category too! I've never killed a spider until a few months ago. I mostly have daddy long legs, and they are all over the place. But when I saw a suspicious spider going across the floor I looked at it real close and it was a brown recluse. It took all my will to pick something up and kill it quickly. I cried for an hour! In fact, I'm tearing up just thinking about it.

No. I am what I was raised to be, basically in honor of my parents. My dad took me fishing, so I can fish, and even bait a hook, but my mother didn't and would show me pretty spiders and snakes. She wasn't afraid of anything, and neither am I. I've hand fed wild raccoons who have learned to trust me. But each new year is a new batch and haven't been able to this year. They don't run, but I can't pet them. But neither of them would hunt, or even kill a mouse. We would chase it and catch mice or bats and let them go outside. The mice we would all pile in the car and actually travel to let go into a field in the country. And I couldn't date any man who hunted, but I loved to fish. Go figure.

I love Choplets better than hambergers though, but will eat either.

I've wondered about mine, and discovered it has to do with how I was raised. So I've accepted that. Some men and even a few women can hunt animals for food, but I can't have anything to do with them. Double standard, I know! LOL And I hate any trophy hunters.

Trophy hunters do rub me the wrong way too. Especially the ones who spend thousands for a weekend away at one of those hunting places, the poor animals are literally sitting ducks. The guys are pretty much guaranteed a "trophy" :(

Yes, they are as bad as the poachers in Africa that kill a rhino just for its tusk.

When someone mentions Roo's I naturally go to reach for my gun. they are a pest ! and just a over grown rat to me. they kill people or mess you up real bad, if you ride a road bike oh boy, I have hit two and in a car I drive with one foot hovering over the brake, when I drove in NZ I knew their was no Roo's but old habits, my wife hates that I will hit the brakes so hard in an instant at times, but hey I do not want to hit a Roo as they make a mess of ya car and the can come in through the windscreen and kick you to death and then their is echidna season and you run over them and you have two tyres destroyed in an instant.
You have to watch out for the dominant Roo he is a real nasty bastard looking to fight 24/7 they go a person as well, do not go near them at all, my mum would say on the phone oh look theirs that big dominant Roo outside the house and if you see it when you are outside hanging the washing go inside the house. they kill your dogs as well and just rip them to threads I have seen it. their toe nails are some what like a knife with all that power behind them.
My mum said she had to stop for that Roo on the road in my car up the road from her house, I said why did you not run it down as that car had a bulbar on it. I sure would of. there was a plague of them around their.
Where my brother is there is road bikes that go past his place doing 200 to 300km/h past his place, I have seen them and bro says their are Roo's getting about around their and a few people have been killed and it's not nice at all too see or hear. people from the city come out just have no idea of such things, they think you are joking. people who live out of town know nothing they always claim or boast such ignorant rubbish. Lefty's always know best.

Yes! I won't even watch wildlife shows where the loin takes a gazelle or some other animal down. Cannot do it. Same with watching a movie and the dog gets killed! There are at least 3 of us on here who are very connected to animals...you...me and @aspen .

And, @Cristo Rei
As far as spiders go...the daddy long legs do not bother me at all, and they eat little bugs and have small bodies. Now, if you are talking the big bodied ones that can and DO jump  well, he has to leave the premises or I'd never sleep! Lol. Not to say I have never killed spiders, it can be an immediate instinct to do so, especially if you don't know what kind of spider it is. :)

My instinct comes from my mother. I'll examine it.
Well...I dunno. You are your own personalities with likes and dislikes. If this instinct you have IS from your mother then, that is at least one good thing you got from her?? Why examine, you cannot stop your love for God's creatures sister, yes??

Yes, I understand. When I was little she would show me spiders and snakes, and even pick them up. Some of them are quite beautiful and unique.
