When the topic is turning to who is responsible and who should be charged, and whether the POTUS should be removed the Law is the only thing that should be considered. The fact that you think otherwise is astounding.
I still have not expressed my own opinion on that, so please don't jump to conclusions or put words into my mouth. I was speaking rather about a person's right to speak remain silent on an issue or a question on this forum.

When I was still working I made decisions that on my authority had the force of law both federal and state so I do understand something about the law... and what evidence is or is not... but I have never been an attorney. Do only attorneys or Americans have a voice here?

You are still judging her heart based on your own experience, knowledge and belief. Not everyone is where you are nor where I am. I do believe according to what I have understood in scripture and from my own experience that there are some sincere people walking with God who disagree with both of us. If they are wrong, or you are wrong, or I am wrong, let each of us judge ourselves, or let God judge us.

What man can see what God can see? Not me!

"For now we see through a glass, darkly;..." I Cor 13:12

"For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again." Matt 7:2

was thinking this morning how much “Republicans” and “Democrats” remind me of a marriage ...male and female ...where both have such strong opinions and different perspectives and both believing (convinced)their views to be right; while neither care for the other one.

What a comparison... one looking at politics and marriages? Some good might come out of the marriage clash. [It did with mine!] but how often has that been true in politics?

Which party would be the male and which would be the female? How great has the "hate" between the parties been in the past as compared to now?

When I got married, we had no trouble in Disneyland [for our honeymoon in 1972] but by 1976 we were definitely bumping heads sharply, the male and the female in the marriage that is... But, in spite of sex differences and sore heads [from the bumping] I believe we were both Republican by that time. We were also converted to Christ in 1976, but remained Republicans, both of us.

Still @VictoryinJesus I guess your comparison may still be valid as long as you don't insist the female be definitely one definite party and the male of the other. Hopefully however the hate in the marriage decreases instead of increasing as seems to be the case with the political couple. Maybe everyone cried when John F Kennedy [a Democrat] died and maybe everyone rejoiced when Ricard M Nixon [a Republican] resigned. How many of the opposing side would cry for Biden? For Trump? What would Jesus do?

A second U.S. Capitol Police officer has died since Wednesday’s storming of Congress by a mob of President Trump’s supporters, authorities reported Sunday.

Initially announced as an “off-duty” death by the U.S. Capitol Police on Sunday morning, multiple news outlets and former police chief Terrance Gainer confirmed that Howard Liebengood, 51, died by suicide on Saturday.

Liebengood, a 15-year veteran of the force, “was among those who responded to the rioting at the U.S. Capitol on January 6,” according to a statement released by the USCP union.

Gainer described Liebengood’s death as a “line of duty casualty” in an interview with CBS News, saying it was no different than the death of fellow officer Brian Sicknick, who died Thursday night from injuries sustained while protecting the Capitol complex.

Forbes is as evilly Leftist as all the other Leftist media. The above is a lie. The ones who stormed the capitol were saboteurs who were determined to give patriots a bad name, but they will get a free pass.

Capitol Siege: Four Veterans Give Their Firsthand Account on Thursday’s Protest at US Capitol

Here's an excerpt: "These families moved to the interior barricades, it wasn’t aggressive, just peaceful. This is where the cops came in and used overwhelming force. We were on the line with the barricade and out come the metal batons and they started hitting Trump protesters as hard as they possibly could. They were hitting old men and old women, people who for some reason brought their families to the event. I couldn’t believe that there were young kids walking in this crowd, but the police were targeting the kids and hitting them with a baton across the head. It was vicious.” according to Charles."

Trump specifically told his supporters to march peacefully to the capitol. Read the transcript of his message.

However, the mainstream media have been LYING THROUGH THEIR TEETH every day for four years. No sensible person should pay any attention to their garbage.

@Enoch111 The article was NOT a political piece... the article simply reported on the death of a second officer.
I have learned NOT to share my political opinions.

I need to add a comment to this... In your ENTIRE rant regarding the source I used to report a SECOND DEATH of law enforcement... YOU did not even have the DECENCY to honour that fact... but rather CHOSE to make your comment about the EVIL leftist agenda.

The article I posted was about a death... It was not about YOU... YOUR THOUGHTS.... the president... or any mob ( whomever they might have been ).

The fact that you did not notice this is quite revealing.

I did not write the article but I find it interesting that both comments here have NOTHING to do with the fact that an officer who was involved in the incident on January 6th has apparently committed suicide... THAT is what the story piece is about... and that is why I posted it.

Yeah, I was poking fun at Forbes, not you. Why the inflammatory language—calling them a “mob.” I’m disappointed with Forbes. They used to be more objective and truthful.

I thought Forbes would be a safe and neutral source since they are a business magazine... That is why I chose them...apparently I was wrong... I guess it just goes to prove that you can't please everyone... and lately... it seems like you can't even please one person... LOL... The point of the article is ANOTHER loss of life... This is NOT about the mob... or the president.

What is the Biblical view of false accusations?

@CadyandZoe My words seem to have absolutely angered you and for that I am truly sorry. Because of this... I have decided not to give any more opinions about the president or the election. The world is full of opinions... everyone has them... expressing an opinion is NOT an accusation.... I believe that considering the climate... words to CALM an angry crowd COULD have been spoken... they were not... thus fanning the flames. Believing something is neither right or wrong... and the fact that you will not let this rest seems to be a problem.

Again... I am sorry for having angered you. but to state that I am being sinful for having an opinion is not something I am able to comprehend.

What is the Biblical view of false accusations?
To know [as opposed to believing and thinking] that someone has made a false accusation, you would have to know what was in the person's heart. Sometimes it is hard for us read our own heart, much less the heart of another person.

"Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts." Prov 21:2

You disagree with my take on this and that is your prerogative. We could exchange verses of scripture here, for this side or for that side, but that would not change anything... We both have better things to do.

May God richly bless you as you walk with Him!

expressing an opinion is NOT an accusation..

It is, if the opinion you express is that someone has done wrong...such and opinion is an accusation against the one whom you believe has done wrong.

The fact that it is merely an opinion does not make it not an accusation...while it does make it a baseless and unfounded accusation.

Well... my "baseless and unfounded" little opinion seems to be the reason the president is facing a second impeachment... Am I at fault for that also?? LOL.

People have lost their common sense it seems... I have been challenged for three days now by you and another for stating that I believe the president incited violence. Perhaps a better word would be instigated... fed fuel to the fire... encouraged...I think America has far worse problems than my little bitty observation and opinion... If you watch the news... I am NOT the only one who feels this way.

The title of this thread is Peaceful Protests in Washington.... The protests on Capital Hill were NOT peaceful... and they came after the president spoke. Sadly... more violence is coming... as this is NOT over yet and that is a very SAD and TRAGIC thing.

The temperature needs to come down in America... I don't think that is going to happen until AFTER the 20th of January.

Forbes, Reuters, AP, etc., etc, etc., have all been TOTALLY CORRUPTED. Instead of reporting news, they are propagating Leftist propaganda. All news media are choosing words to attack anything that is truthful or conservative, and promoting the Woke narrative of the Left. Forbes has blatantly attacked Trump as well as those who worked under him, trying to blacklist them.

The protests on Capital Hill were NOT peaceful...
Where were you when BLM and Antifa were destroying American cities with impunity for months while the corrupt Leftist media insisted on calling riots and anarchy "peaceful protests", and the FBI and police forces simply stood by and did little or nothing?

Evidently you either have no clue about the DOUBLE STANDARD of the media, or you are a part of that double standard -- a Leftist who loves virtue signaling (as they all do hypocritically).
