If Adventist theology is anything, it is not loose. Give me a break, PW.
No-one can, either in the spirit or the letter, can fully obey any of God's commandments until they are born again and have His Spirit abiding within. Therefore it is impossible for the keeping of the Commandments to contribute one iota to ones salvation.
Once one does become a Christian however, and is filled with the holy Spirit and loving God with all his strength, soul, mind, and body; loving his neighbor and even his enemies as he loves himself, then obedience to whatever God expects becomes the norm. Love and obedience cannot be divided one from the other.
Unless you love you cannot hope to keep the Commandments. "If you love Me... Keep them". If you aren't keeping the Commandments, you're not loving. If you're not loving, are you saved?
The only looseness is in your own observation of Adventist theology. I know of no Adventist on any forum afraid to discuss in depth any theological aspect of adventism. Buy plenty of non Adventists who only want to read the headlines and focus on sound bites fed to them by our enemies.

No man walking in teh Spirit would be foolish enough to put himself under the law and which was never meant for Him as He would never desire to be disobedient to God
Christ raised this issue while here on earth, they claim to walk in the Spirit, but He says they do not, this bit
Luk 5:36 And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old.
Luk 5:37 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.
Luk 5:38 But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.
Luk 5:39 No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.
Here he declares that no man who has tasted of the new wine.. this bit..
Act 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
Act 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
Act 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Act 2:13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

but they have not tasted of the new wine - the Holy Spirit so they prefer the hold, the law, and as it says you cannot mix the two together it breaks things, but it is exactly what they do,, Disobedient even unto death, and like all religious men, they will never leave their religion to follow after Christ so he can make them ready.

Mat 25:11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

That's not exactly what I said. It is the city as well as the god whose idol sits in the harbor overlooking the city.

This sounds great, but you STILL have not identified specifically ALL the commandments that you believe a Christian must keep! You are talking in circles and purposely obfuscating the truth about SDA doctrine. I've never known you to be so evasive! What's up with you??

When the millerites set dates , folks should have fled them .
And when the date failed they should have repented . Yet they simply put yet another lie
