There are two basic views on the subject among Bible-believing Christians. There are those who believe the Holy Spirit did not work in the same manner during the Old Testament age as He does today. Although it has been the same Holy Spirit all along, His methods have changed from age to age. They contend that the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament was not universal to every believer, but was available only to certain believers. Those who hold this view Israel and the New Testament church as two distinct entities.

Another view sees the Holy Spirit indwelling believers from the beginning. It is contended that no one could obey the Lord’s commandments without the leading of the Holy Spirit. Those who hold this view tend to view Israel and the New Testament church as one continuous entity – but this is not always the case. Not all of those who hold this view agree as to the extent to which Old Testament believers experienced the ministry of the Holy Spirit. However they all agree that the Holy Spirit indwelt all Old Testament believers.

easy . Because both are Wrong .

Once one grasps the idea that "God created our ORIGINAL beings like Themselves"
[=so , not this Ape 2.0 we came to live in now] ,
it is crystal clear that the Spirit is Miss

as a gorgious being
and her attribute is "the word"
(female's attribute is 'the word', males attribute is 'speech')

... this is why Miss is often sent to prophets : to tell the word
[which God had SPOKEN]

therefore Ezekiel righteously describes
that it was Miss who spoke with him

Have you ever given thought to the fact that there was 'no Holy Ghost' in the Old Testament? He was not necessary in the Old Testament because there was no 'Christ in you the hope of glory' to be revealed.

Think on these things Saints - sometimes it's necessary to contemplate what is not written.

The Holy Spirit is most definitely in the OT. This is why these terms need to be understood in the original language. When understood as Ruach HaKodesh it is found everywhere in the OT. English is a translation not the original. Ponder on that for a while.

Yes and also ponder that they have 2 different meanings and applications- neither are direct and linear

Yes i do

Give me the specific definition of "Holy Spirit" you are specifically referring to ( the discussion at hand above) so i can properly context your question before answering it.

No
Lets start here where we see the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God , the Spirit at work in Creation. (Gen. 1:2; Job 26:13; Is. 32:15).

Psalm 51:11
Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.

And we know its the Holy Spirit in Is 32:15 because the Son promised that the other Comforter/ Advocate would be poured out at Pentecost.

After we finish with the Holy Spirit we will dialogue about the Deity of the Son.

hope this helps !!!

Here's your first lesson then young padiwan

In that context holy spirit ( not capitalized is your first clue) H6944 (kodasch) means simply 'sacred" and spirit H7307 (rookah) which means 'wind" in the sense of energy or vitality- thats one of the attributes of God

Not Pneuma paracletos of the NT

You dont even understand what you claim to dispute so go learn some more then come back.

nd we know its the Holy Spirit in Is 32:15 because the Son promised that the other Comforter/ Advocate would be poured out at Pentecost.

See above, LOL

You need to invest in some actual legitimate study material then start using it

After we finish with the Holy Spirit we will dialogue about the Deity of the Son.

Sure, what do you need me to correct there for you?

Old enough

Long enough
apparently not since you reject the only one who can save you from your sins.

Lets see how you do without ad hominem attacks on me with the Son.

Who is our God and Savior in 2 Peter 1:1 ?

τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμῶν καὶ σωτῆρος Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ

Now that you are done whining, do you have anything of legitimate substance?
Lets see so far you answer questions with questions instead of giving a direct answer to a question. That is known as deflecting and it says more about you than it does anything else .

From the looks of it you are Gen Y or Z.

I'm a baby boomer .
