The Great Flood
17 Now the flood was on the earth forty days. The waters increased and lifted up the ark, and it rose high above the earth. 18 The waters prevailed and greatly increased on the earth, and the ark moved about on the surface of the waters. 19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly on the earth, and all the high hills under the whole heaven were covered. 20 The waters prevailed fifteen cubits upward, and the mountains were covered. 21 And all flesh died that moved on the earth: birds and cattle and beasts and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every man. 22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit[a] of life, all that was on the dry land, died. 23 So He destroyed all living things which were on the face of the ground: both man and cattle, creeping thing and bird of the air. They were destroyed from the earth. Only Noah and those who were with him in the ark remained alive. 24 And the waters prevailed on the earth one hundred and fifty days.

What flood ?
There have been two you know. Father destroyed the First Earth Age when Satan rebelled. 2 Peter 3:5-7 Verse 5 For this they willingly are ignorant of that by the word of God the heavens WERE of OLD and the earth standing out of the water and in the water. 6 Whereby the WORLD that THEN WAS being overflowed with water PERISHED. 7 But the HEAVENS and the EARTH witch are NOW by the same word are kept in store reserved unto FIRE against the day of JUDGEMENT and perdition of ungodly men.
Now I know most will say Peters talking of the flood of Noah's time. If you feel this way read Jeremiah 4:22-26 Verse 22 For my people is foolish they have not known me they are sottish children and they have none understanding they are wise to do evil but to do good they have no knowledge. 23 I beheld the Earth and lo it was without FORM and VOID and the heavens and they had no light. 24 I beheld the MOUNTAINS and lo they TREMBLED and all the HILLS MOVED LIGHTLY. 25 I beheld and lo there was NO MAN and all the BIRDS of the heavens were FLED.
One would have better understanding if Verse 23 read after 24 & 25.
When God shook the earth and caused the first flood it became without FORM and VOID. God doesn't create without FORM and VOID. At the time of Noah's flood we know there was Man and Birds. Verse 25 explains this wasn't Noah's flood.

I am very sure that there are many.
I remember a Chinese preacher showing the Chinese characters and when he showed us "House" it was something like this...but maybe I have the word wrong...maybe it should be 'safe' or even 'flood' I forget.
Something like that...showing people in a safe boat. He said all the old Chinese characters depict the flood and all such "happenings" I believe ever culture knows the flood story and others.
Oh I have just rechecked... it is the word 'Flood' ...it shows 8 people safe
in a boat.

Startling Similarity between Hindu Flood Legend of Manu and the Biblical Account of Noah
There must have been similar accounts. People try to do their best to find similarities between religions. Their priority is to find similarities but not the truth. The perspective of Christian religion is unique. The foundation of Christian religion is never similar to any other religion. Christian religion is based on ONE GOD and the Word of GOD is GOD. No matter how many similarities people try to find among millions of worldly stories, the true account is always the Word of God. In this world there are stories of everything rain, sun, moon, mountains, clouds, sky, .... Why they could not find a similarity between the story of moon existing in this world with any reference to the moon in Christian religion?
All they try to prove is that all religions are the same which is false. Faith is known in the works of a person. The works of people here do not show that they have any similarities with the Christian religion. All of them are meant only to confuse people. The only truth is from the Word of God. The only true account of the Great flood which destroyed the whole earth was given in the Bible.

Oh I don't think anyone here is saying that the stories are all "christian" based....but just saying that every nation has it's own flood and creation stories. ( which I would say confirms the true creation and flood stories
)
