Been here just a little over a week coming from another Christian forum that was "Toxic" in the way people communicated with each other.
I said something and was totally ignored as they went on their merry way "Ripping" into each other.
I've experienced the same hatefulness at 3 other forums, and have concluded that this is the "NEW LOVE" brothers and sisters have for one another.

I see all the right verses proclaimed for all kinds of topics here, and people are really knowledgeable, but honestly, does anyone hear the words of Christ they repeat?

What blows my mind is then not only do the offenders defend their right to be offensive, then others do too!

Go figure!

I think the problem is indemic to Christian forums. If offers the opportunity for anyone to conduct themself as a teacher to the body whether God intends that or not.

Much love!

depends by who's judgement it is, on what ought to be loved, and what ought to be hated.

besides who is to say these on other sites don't know each other as friends in the real world and have fun at ripping into each other like friends do. if they're not offending each other, who cares. also, why are you entitled acceptance of any sort? Jesus was rejected by those He Himself cared for since Abraham, and the truth is He really expected them to reject Him.

I'm having a lot of fun with the "IGNORE FEATURE".
I've never done this before.
I think I will have more fun posting now.
I'm up to 3 ignores now :).

I've never yet used [IGNORE], except for a couple of very profane trolls that no one seemed to think should have been silenced. But, I understand it does seem to make posting online (on any forum) much better for a lot of people.

I always take people off ignore once in a while to see if they are getting better. Some do!

:)

Much love!

Thanks Mark.
I just did that with one person I ignored, but a week hasn't made any difference :)

Love to receive love is conditional.
Love without wants or needs, or having an issue or an agenda, is unconditional. Jesus taught unconditional love.
All our conditionality comes from our false-self, the part of us that is totally untrustworthy.
We as Christians trust Truth / God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit; but unfortunately, most Christians rather trust self than God.
Their posts are always wanting to be right; to justify their false-self as valid/right. But it is not and never will no matter how hard they try to prove differently.

God forgive us, we don't know what we are doing.
