Yes Jesus blood is the price required to seal the covenant. But throughout the NT Jesus is called the mediator of the New Covenant. If a covenant is in effect one does not need a mediator!

Actually, a mediator is one who is mediating a present dispute, or a present issue--not a future one. He is not a negotiator, or arbitrator, trying to settle a dispute that will be in the future of some sort of settlement. Rather, he is mediating a current settlement, resolved at the Cross.

All of mankind broke the Law via Israel. Israel represented the universal human condition, such that we are all viewed as guilty under the law of the human conscience. See Rom 2.

You came to realize? what Scriptures did you use to come to this realization that the new covenant has a secret provision that covers the church and gentiles?

Do you know where this 6000 years for man and then the Millennium came from? It is chapter 15 of the Epistle of Barnabas. I believe this book that had been in six lists of book candidates when they were making up the canon should have been included as Scripture. I believe it to be. Even a verse from it regarding abortion is quoted in the Didache, The Teachings of the Twelve Apostles. Though the list of books were chosen by man, God kept this book safe until the prophecy was about to be fulfilled. And then it was found in a monastery on Mt. Sinai and saved from being burnt for fuel. (Stupid monks!)

Do you know where this 6000 years for man and then the Millennium came from? It is chapter 15 of the Epistle of Barnabas. I believe this book that had been in six lists of book candidates when they were making up the canon should have been included as Scripture. I believe it to be. Even a verse from it regarding abortion is quoted in the Didache, The Teachings of the Twelve Apostles. Though the list of books were chosen by man, God kept this book safe until the prophecy was about to be fulfilled. And then it was found in a monastery on Mt. Sinai and saved from being burnt for fuel. (Stupid monks!)

Now I am not wanting to start an argument over the Biblical chronology, however, the above table has a number of errors in it.

The first error

Firstly, the from the flood to when Abraham, I assume when he left Haran, is in error by 59 years. The duration of the flood is not taken into account from the scriptures where we are told that Noah was 601 years old when the flood was over and God told Noah to come out of the Ark.

Secondly, Terah was 70 years old when Abraham was born and not 130 years old as the above calculations assume such that from the time of the flood until Abraham left Haran actually only 367 years and not 427 years as the above table suggests.

The second Error

From the time that Abraham left Haran until the time of the Exodus is actually 645 years and not 430 years as suggested above.

The Third error

From the Exodus until King Saul was established as king over all of Israel, is actually 334 years and not 396 years as suggested above.

The fourth Error is the timespan from the creation of Adam until the Birth of Christ. I would suggest that Christ was born in the year 4097 after the creation of Adam whereas you are claiming that this span is only 4004 years.

The fifth Error is that most people accept that Christ was born in the year 4 BC. Therefore the time from the birth of Christ to today using the Christian Calendar is actually 2024 years and that this would make the time of Adam to this present time around 6121 years.

It seems to me that your error is far greater and at present it stands at around 97 years.

Some how our interpretation that a Day of the Lord is as a 1,000 years does not line up with the chronology as presented in the scriptures.

Your expectations do not fit in with the word of God as I see it.

Paul really knew the Old Testament very well evidently, if we think about it, we will consider that he did not walk with JESUS, quite the contrary, he was a persecutor of the believers in JESUS when he knew Him, but knowing JESUS and being full of the Holy Spirit, having the Old Testament as a source and some contacts with the Apostles of the Lord, he was wonderfully caught to write all that was given to him to transmit to the Churches and contribute to the building of the body of JESUS here, until the Lord returns-Amen.

I was quoting what Jewish scholars believe and I agree with their understanding in that the second Kingdom of Priests a Holy Nation and God's possession among the Nations Covenant it will be subtly different from the Mt Sinai covenant which Israel rejected in under 40 days while Mses was up on the mountain with God for 40 days. Compare the covenant structures between the Mt Sinai and the Jeremiah recorded covenants and you will see that they are different.
