I am not saying all of Quantrill's men were Christian at all. But to say they only rode to justify their thuggery is wrong. Go and read about Quantrill in my thread 'lessons for historical Mary'.

You seem to indicate you love history, and study it. Yet you say such empty things as this. Men in Kansas and Missouri were fighting a brutal war before the War ever occurred.

I read Bill Anderson's biography, and I stand by what I said.

Give me the title of the book you read and it's author?

See, I'm not scared to read another opinion. But, go ahead and just....stand there.

I think heavy changes are on the horizon - our standard of living is going to plummet. All these people flooding in and going on welfare are going to clean out SS and medicaid. I don't think our children will have it. I think it's going to become like the Great Depression. Hospitals are going to close like they did in an area we stayed in, because the law forces them to treat everyone irregardless of ability to pay. If you have an emergency it will be many hours before you're seen - like what happened to me. The influx overwhelmed the city treatment plant and the toilets wouldn't flush. Raw sewage gases came up through the street. It was a real mess. It was a Democrat run area and they just did not think or plan. That's why it seems to me that we can see clearly who the sheep and who the goats are.

I belong to a pain group and many people with serious disorders are being denied relief. Human rights have plummeted. In Obamacare there is allegedly rationing where older people with infirmities are only given the bare bones of treatment. Courts are out of control and we have unelected judges ruling the land. There are good police but when bad police maim or kill they're often not held accountable. It's a mirror image of Nazi Germany police state. The government becomes everything. It's really frightening.

I don't understand why you're saying that the minorities will rule? I know there is a war on whites - especially white men. Henry Makow has researched it well: henrymakow.com - Exposing Feminism and The New World Order

I see Kamala Harris always plays the race card and I pray to God Almighty that she - or any of her ilk become President. I'm just unsure what you see coming down the road?

So who would vote for them? In my experience, unsaved people that I know vote D. But R really isn't all that different - the entire country is corrupt.

We see our country being destroyed and we have a right to stop it. So what do you think that we should do? The only thing necessary for evil to prosper is for good men to do nothing.

I went on a school trip and there were two bullies in the classroom who cowered all the kids. They were cruel. The one boy, Brandon, was a nice-looking kid, slick, and mouthy. His sidekick was Jose, a huge kid who failed the previous grade and towered over the rest of the boys. They sat next to me on a school bus trip. I watched as they unwrapped candy, spit on it, re-wrapped it and passed it back to the kids on the bus. When someone accused them of doing something to the candy, Brandon looked at me, the bold little punk that he was, and said "Mrs. B I'm not doing anything to the candy am I?" He was so cocky and so used to charming others that he actually thought that I would go along with him. I saw how he had charisma and had the teacher always give him a wink and a nod when he did something wrong. I reamed him right in front of the entire bus. And the funny thing was as soon as I did that, the bus got quiet and the teacher looked shocked. But lo and behold another father on the trip - whose son the bullies obviously teased - snapped at the two bullies. Then a mother on the bus snapped at the bullies. That's one example that came to mind, but sometimes all it takes for things to change is one person to stand up and stop a wrong - then others follow.

I don't know about everybody else but I think Christians are too passive. Christ said he came not to bring peace but to bring a sword. Look throughout history: we would never have stopped drunk driving deaths if a concerned mother didn't start MADD. We would never have gotten adequate pay if people hadn't fought sweat shops. One woman refused to get to the back of the bus and changed history. We have to resurrect the spirit of Revolution.

I know they were responsible for slavery - Dennis Prager brought that out. Why are so many blacks fooled by their rhetoric? I read that they've kicked the blacks to the curb now - they're trying to court the Hispanic vote.

Do you think that the Democrats have any chance winning in the next election?

    John Whitehead:

Since when have we Americans been expected to bow submissively to authority and speak with awe and reverence to those who represent us? The constitutional theory is that we the people are the sovereigns, the state and federal officials only our agents. We who have the final word can speak softly or angrily. We can seek to challenge and annoy, as we need not stay docile and quiet.”— Justice William O. Douglas

Unjust. Brutal. Criminal. Corrupt. Inept. Greedy. Power-hungry. Racist. Immoral. Murderous. Evil. Dishonest. Crooked. Excessive. Deceitful. Untrustworthy. Unreliable. Tyrannical.

These are all words that have at some time or other been used to describe the U.S. government.

These are all words that I have used at some time or other to describe the U.S. government. That I may feel morally compelled to call out the government for its wrongdoing does not make me any less of an American.

If I didn’t love this country, it would be easy to remain silent. However, it is because I love my country, because I believe fervently that if we lose freedom here, there will be no place to escape to, I will not remain silent.

    Nor should you.

Nor should any other man, woman or child—no matter who they are, where they come from, what they look like, or what they believe.

This is the beauty of the dream-made-reality that is America. As Chelsea Manning recognized, “We’re citizens, not subjects. We have the right to criticize government without fear.

Indeed, the First Amendment does more than give us a right to criticize our country: it makes it a civic duty. Certainly, if there is one freedom among the many spelled out in the Bill of Rights that is especially patriotic, it is the right to criticize the government.

The right to speak out against government wrongdoing is the quintessential freedom.

Unfortunately, those who run the government don’t take kindly to individuals who speak truth to power. In fact, the government has become increasingly intolerant of speech that challenges its power, reveals its corruption, exposes its lies, and encourages the citizenry to push back against the government’s many injustices.

President Obama signed into law anti-protest legislation that makes it easier for the government to criminalize protest activities (10 years in prison for protesting anywhere in the vicinity of a Secret Service agent). The Obama Administration also waged a war on whistleblowers, which The Washington Post described as “the most aggressive I’ve seen since the Nixon administration,” and “spied on reporters by monitoring their phone records.”

Part of the Patriot Act signed into law by President George W. Bush made it a crime for an American citizen to engage in peaceful, lawful activity on behalf of any group designated by the government as a terrorist organization. Under this provision, even filing an amicus brief on behalf of an organization the government has labeled as terrorist would constitute breaking the law.

President Franklin D. Roosevelt authorized the FBI to censor all news and control communications in and out of the country in the wake of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Roosevelt also signed into law the Smith Act, which made it a crime to advocate by way of speech for the overthrow of the U.S. government by force or violence.

President Woodrow Wilson signed into law the Espionage and Sedition Acts, which made it illegal to criticize the government’s war efforts.

President Abraham Lincoln seized telegraph lines, censored mail and newspaper dispatches, and shut down members of the press who criticized his administration.

In 1798, during the presidency of John Adams, Congress passed the Alien and Sedition Acts, which made it a crime to “write, print, utter or publish … any false, scandalous, and malicious” statements against the government, Congress or president of the United States.

Clearly, the government has been undermining our free speech rights for quite a while now, but Trump’s antagonism towards free speech is much more overt.

This idea of “dangerous” speech, on the other hand, is peculiarly authoritarian in nature. What it amounts to is speech that the government fears could challenge its chokehold on power.

The kinds of speech the government considers dangerous enough to red flag and subject to censorship, surveillance, investigation, prosecution and outright elimination include: hate speech, bullying speech, intolerant speech, conspiratorial speech, treasonous speech, threatening speech, incendiary speech, inflammatory speech, radical speech, anti-government speech, right-wing speech, left-wing speech, extremist speech, politically incorrect speech, etc.

Conduct your own experiment into the government’s tolerance of speech that challenges its authority, and see for yourself.

Stand on a street corner—or in a courtroom, at a city council meeting or on a university campus—and recite some of the rhetoric used by the likes of Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry, John Adams and Thomas Paine without referencing them as the authors.

Never forget: what the architects of the police state want are submissive, compliant, cooperative, obedient, meek citizens who don’t talk back, don’t challenge government authority, don’t speak out against government misconduct, and don’t step out of line.

As I point out in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People, tolerance for dissent is vital if we are to survive as a free nation.

It’s Un-American To Be Anti-Free Speech: Protect the Right to Criticize the Government

Yes. They will probably win through FRAUD. Hillary Clinton received a huge number of fraudulent votes. But since then the Democrats (along with Soros, Steyer, and other anti-Trump billionaires) have been scheming to steal the next election. To the best of my knowledge, little or nothing has been done to ensure that there is no voter fraud. This should have been a high priority for Mr. Trump, and there should have been a special investigation into this and a plan should have been put in place so that no illegal votes would be included.

leave the world? Ha bc most everyone is right i guess, the world is coming to an end; their world. So i mean bam vote or do as you feel led, but empires in the decadence stage will still decline and collapse, too. At least none has not yet. There is a clock on the wall/internet for that, right, they all go the same way i guess, basically

Yes we learned of election fraud in our state and no one wanted to hear about it - probably because they know it. I'm just really concerned for what's ahead.

My cousin was involved in fighting election fraud before she died. Maybe you can start your own organization - I'm sure a lot of Christians would join since everything is so corrupt and full of deception now. I wish I could do more but can't.

I was completely oblivious to politics through the Obama years - and from what I learned I'm glad I was. I read that he's singled out for being the head of the U.N.

This is the first I've heard of issues on the horizon between the races. I don't experience this personally so don't know much about it. I write to a black prisoner, my father's best friend was a black man, and to me, trouble between the races is "manufactured." It does bother me that more blacks serve time in prison and if I was a black mother I would be scared to death of any interactions with police. I know a lot of people were against Colin Kaepernick but I give him credit for raising awareness and not backing down. What's going on is evil. There are many upright police but mentally unhealthy ones attain to positions of power and grossly abuse it. I know there is an illuminati war on whites and they're getting insane with it. It's like they're trying to destroy masculinity and paint every white as entitled. And the pied pipers are usually actors and actresses.

It's unfair for anyone to accuse someone of that. It's a way to shame people into silence. That's what they did with Obama - anytime you criticize him you're accused of racism. If you want the border secured you're labeled a racist. It's so unfair.

It doesn't work. Some people have pain that is at the top of the McGill pain scale and kratom doesn't touch that level of pain. There have been a number of suicides - particularly vets.

ah, ya, worked with some of those. I found it kind of maybe significant that a person could be in so much pain and still eat, and in my experience anyway couldnt fast at all...but i do have friends coming back from mexico with hundreds of opiate pills, prescription in hand, fwiw. I dont recommend that but there it is.

i'd think just buying heroin and like smoking a hit when you needed it would be preferable to suicide, wouldnt it? Surprised dope dealers havent discovered your group for a revenue stream even, tbh?

I'm going by what I've heard others in the group say and I tried kratom and it was useless. But I deal with very high levels of pain. Maybe it would work for people with milder pain. Eating is a physiological mechanism that I don't think is hampered by pain.

How do your friends make it through the border check with all those prescriptions?

Some people have turned to heroin - but that's a risky way to go. You never know what it has in it, and you may get caught and entangled in the legal system, and our legal system is so corrupt today I don't trust it. The group I'm in is comprised of law-abiding people, many with professional careers that they've worked very hard for. I think that any dealer would know not to approach anyone in it. They do get approached by journalists looking for people willing to say that they became a drug addict after a doctor prescribed them something for pain. It may make one wonder why they're trying to put this propaganda out there. The news is all owned so many times the truth gets buried underneath the lies. It's actually been proven that the opioid epidemic is not caused by prescriptions, but by illegal drugs flooding through the border from Mexico and through the mail from China. The CDC actually came out and admitted to fabricating statistics. Why would they want to do this?
