What we think we know about God and salvation is likely wrong. But what we know is derived from the Bible.
So we should consider what the Bible tells us about how to recognize we've been led down the wrong path,because those wrong leaders led us using the Bible.
So we should use the Bible to learn what's right. And then think for ourselves.

And pray.

And WHY men can be “wrong” is simple:
Men ‘do NOT’ know all things!

Men’s “truths” change daily.
Today a man can believe:
* he will live in his home forever...
..tomorrow his home burns down.
* a drug will safely sooth an ailment...
..the drug causes an organ failure.
* he will picnic & lake swim tomorrow...
..tomorrow a tornado strikes.
* he will meet friends for supper.
.. he breaks a leg and is in hospital.

Gods TRUTH never Changes simply:
Because God “DOES” know all things!

A man who “chooses” to Trust and Rely on Gods TRUTHS,
IS a man WHO, becomes content with his “choices”.

Thus the Question...HOW to KNOW what Gods TRUTHS ARE?
Scripture. Scripture is the SOURCE for knowing and verifying.

AND? Back to mans “WRONG”, that “occurs” between men?
Man says he WILL do this or that, and what the man said he WILL DO, fails?

IS that a “SIN” of man against man? No.
That is a trespass. And men ask men to forgive trespasses.
A man WHO: (intentionally or not)
Lies to a man...a trespass.
Cheats a man...a trespass.
Steals from a man...a trespass.
Causes harm to a man...a trespass.
Fails to pay a man a debt as agreed..a trespass.
Invades a man privacy/space...a trespass.

Men are Scripturally taught TO ask men for FORGIVENESS of Trespasses committed against a man.

Men are Scripturally taught TO FORGIVE men of Trespasses committed against them.

SIN is Against God. Only God Forgives SIN.

Remember Jews wanted to kill Jesus for Forgiving men of their SIN?
How many men TODAY, accuse men of sinning Against them, AND also say “THEY” forgive men of “SIN”?

There are those that say, "BECAUSE I DON’T BELIEVE THEIR ONE VERSE! " or even their 1001 individual verse the way they do!" I cannot be saved!

There are members of THE CHURCH, that tell me this, they know because their Bishops are infallible.

One verse out of context with the verses around it is a drift away from truth in and of itself. On verse out of context allows change of GOD'S word in scary ways!

I have used Psalm 106 to becoming tired of because verse 3 was thrown at me as meaning something it cannot mean if you look at the story it is in.

The drift is in, because it is natural for man to slice off what isn't liked and build a new story on what is liked.
