We are commanded to preach the word and rebuke false teaching. So it doesn't matter what you feel you are supposed to do, Scripture commands us to rebuke false teaching.
Be careful going into the realm of "commands"...I think "loving others" trumps most of them.

Love does not mean you allow false teaching to go without rebuke. I think it is rich when people try to play love as the trump card so they can ignore the rest of Scripture because they don't like it.
So, we ignore what Jesus spoke most of, loving others, because we like rebuking others more?

That was a direct answer to your post #602. Even worded the same way. I'm beginning to believe you might not have anything to say if you couldn't holler, "Strawman." LOL
I know what it was in response to but you made a straw man argument because you changed my words into something I did not actually say or mean. Apparently you don't know what a straw man argument is.

I think, to you, it must mean, "You have to agree with me." LOL
No, I mean if you are going to say what I said it better be what I actually said. Don't twist my words. You clearly don't take this seriously. By the way, when you start something with "I feel" when talking about theology, that's a safe bet to say you are about to go in error. We do not interpret the Bible with feelings.

Wow! Have you ever misunderstood "interpretation." Everything ANYONE reads from anything, including the Bible, is processed through who we are, how we think, and the experiences of our own, personal lives. It can happen no other way. And that means that we understand what we feel to be right and accurate.

Why are you so reluctant to provide proof?

Because I'm not opening that book ever again. I'm done with it. "MacArthur exposes the folly of some of the Charismatic teachings. Darkness does not like the light." But don't you see, that is exactly why JM hates us and has written so many dark books. We are of the light.

I'd like to know what you believe from Scripture. That Book I WILL open.

Willie, “it can happen no other way.” “Processed through who we are, how we think, and the experience of our own, personal life.”

...there is another way though in “Be you transformed by the renewing of the mind.” And “take on My yoke. learn of Me.” while that is true we filter everything through the lens we have been given by the world ...that lens can be healed. only can speak from what I’ve experienced. when I began to read the word I read it through a male-chauvinist lens I was fully convinced was God. the “interpretation” aligned and when others said how much God loves women also ...I couldn’t see it or believe it. For some it may be money ...where everything filters through a lens of wealth with respect of money. @bbyrd009 suggested it on another thread that the Word reads us. It is true in revealing our faulty False lens. God can heal the lens someone views the Word through...Christ can become that lens speaking something new to the person.

Well then you shouldn't go spouting off about someone if you aren't going to provide evidence. That's ridiculous. Are you so insecure in your beliefs that you are afraid to open a book to show its error? That's just ridiculous.

Which explains why you are in error.

And you restated just what I said. As your life understandings and experiences changed, the way you felt about what you read also changed. And it will keep doing so throughout your life.... no matter what the "source" of that change, be it worldly or Spiritual. You don't believe that what you understand today is set and fixed, never to progress and evolve, do you? The Bible even tells us to continue to daily "GROW" in the Lord. (That doesn't mean to just get taller.)

I imagine all of us have heard the old saying, "Perception is everything." But, I submit that it could be more accurately said, "Your perception is your everything."
(Just a little something to put in your "Humm"… box.)

You have no evidence that I have committed a sin of lawlessness, which is what Jesus has freed us from. I don't suppose your denomination teaches you of the two kinds of sin either, so your accusation you think you have against me is out of blatant ignorance.

1.) No... you committed the sin of slander and evil speech. And I DO have evidence for that.

2.) No, because sin is sin. We don't try and cherry pick our sins to pat ourselves on the back and delude ourselves into thinking that we are sinless. We openly confess our sins to the Father and, on the basis of Christ's blood alone, we are forgiven.

I don't believe you've read the book. You're offering blurbs, not content. Are you acting like you've read the book? I believe that's what you're doing, your hatred would never allow you to read the book or acknowledge its truth or documentible facts. You're scared of the truth, being exposed and will not read it.

"Sin is sin" is another of Calvinist ignorant statements. 1 John 5:16-17 shows 2 different types.

Only those who have to openly confess sins are those who have never been born again of the Spirit, so you don't commit sins to confess.
