Israel is the church now and it is not a theocratic nation. While the Federal Laws were initially and are “supposed” to be paralleled with Biblical Standards and Principles and limited by the US Constitution...
Israelites/Mosaic Law governed over (Hebrews, Tribes, Israelites) the “precepts” of men regarding behaviors between and among men....including “moral” behaviors.

The “precepts” found primarily scattered within the 600+ Mosaic Laws, ARE typically taught and preached under (SOME, but not all of ) the Christianity Religions. Do’s and Don’t’s and REBUKING “immoral” behaviors.

Neh 9 gives us the introduction to the THREE inclusions in Mosaic Law...
Neh 9:
[14] And madest known unto them thy holy sabbath, and commandedst them precepts, statutes, and laws, by the hand of Moses thy servant:

Each has a different meaning, which I doubt most know the Three or their different meanings.
* Statute is typically Written by an authoritative body/group. Ie Congress...
...Scripturally God personally wrote the Ten Commandments, (Moses Broke the Tablets, then had to re-write them...chisel in stone.)
* Laws are typically lists of Rules, Written or Verbal, by an authoritative body, sometimes called Rules, sometimes called Common Law, or By-laws...(Congress, Legislators, Associations, Schools, Teachers, Parents, etc.)
* Precepts are typically “regulatory”. Intended to regulate acceptable and unacceptable behaviors between and among men.

Jesus touch’s on Behavior between and among men, but does not identify his teaching is falling under the term “precept”. Jews would have already been familiar with that understanding.

Hebrews / Tribesmen were expressly Set apart, chosen to Be teachers of Gods Word. First to their own kinsmen and then the world...eh...failed.

However the bottom line is every person has opportunity to Learn the Truth according to Gods TRUTH, believe it, follow it, or not...ie Freewill.
And multiple warnings ARE rendered in Scripture to BEWARE of FALSE preachers....Verify everything.

He had in mind what is right for us as human beings. People can choose to be gay man with man or woman with woman. Even some people try out to be Polyarmous, but things like this normally cause problems, and probably have some type of emptiness with-in them. The great news today, is that Jesus Christ has rectified sin - however people suffer from what they reap and sow. That can be from the flesh or by the spirit.

This was a law given to the Nation of Israel - the Gentile world outside of this place - did not live by any Law.

If you are gay yourself @Romanov2488, I would still tell you that hey that is all fine, do you know what Jesus Christ has done for you though? He has given you the ability to be able to talk with God through prayer if you believe on his death, burial, and resurrection which is totally a choice you have to make on your own if you will have faith on what Jesus had done not only for you but the whole world. God is not mad or angry at you, because Jesus Christ has taken care of everything but if you want to seek God out in faith that is your choice of course.

Well, it’s about to be 2023 and modern society is not going to tolerate such bigotry which is why the same sex marriage bill has been passed in the U.S. The state can easily outlaw Christianity if it wanted to. We have separation of church and state for a reason.
