If you do not believe you need God, then change your mind (that is the definition of "Repent")..... then two of your requirement are automatically met. The third one cannot be met, because almost no one really knows what confessing is. They think it is renouncing a few things they can remember doing wrong.

So, it simply comes down to truly believing Jesus is who He says He is, and that He can and will do what He promised.

okay that's your opinion, interpretation and conclusion and claimed to be inspired but what does the bible say about confess - twinc

To confess is to admit to being wrong or have done wrong. To repent is to turn away from a way of behaviour/life.
The two are often linked together as there is little point in saying I'm sorry if one keeps on doing whatever required an apology for.
Believeis vital for salvation as confessing that one has done wrong and turning away from that life style will benefit one it is only belief in Jesus that will save one.
