I wonder how many Christians voted for a member and priest of one of the largest cults in the US using the carnal thought pattern of expediency. The citizens of His Kingdom doing this is pleasing to God?
White Evangelical
26% of voters

A strongly Republican group, these voters backed Romney, a Mormon, by a wider margin over Obama than they did in 2008 with John McCain running. 78% Mr Romney 21% for President Obama.

I predicted all along that Obama would win. Now mind you, he's my last choice --- I'm Libertarian. How did I know? The Bible.

1) His genealogy is tied to royalty as all US presidents were. Good, bad or otherwise, I suppose God has in store what His people deserve, as historically there were some pretty nasty Kings in Judah as well before that Kingdom went into captivity.
2) A woman (and friend of mine) at our church is finding words and code in the Bible with Obama's name in it. And it all has to do with the judgment of Israel. Frankly, I think we're on the brink of the Great Tribulation, but that's just my opinion based on what I see around me. I see many signs falling into place, but they are not all here yet.

I ought to go to another "Christian site" that I stopped posting at, and bring up a thread I had about a year ago where I said he would win just to say "I told you so", but then as most people who do not like my pointed but truthful insight would probably just ban me so they can get back to their salvations, and baptisms and milk and Christmases and other such things while blindfolding themselves.

Now this site believes in the lost tribes of Israel, and the prophecy in Great Britain and the United States (ministers such as J. H Allen and Herbert W Armstrong used to teach about) so what I'm saying here is no surprise since this site follows those lines. I'm just merely pointing this out.

This is my first reply on this site but I wanted to thank you! I believe the Lord showed me Wednesday morning that obama's re-election is not confined to just the United States but about Israel and God is trying to get their attention. And that we were going to have to ride the next four years with them. I have been asking people to pray for peace of Jerusalem and for Israel.... and yet I get that look. So thank you again for the confirmation!

God bless you!

It is not prudent to say such things about the leader God has chosen. We all will be accountable for every idle word. I suggest repentance and allowing the Holy Spirit to put love in your heart for this man.

When the Anti-Christ steps on the world stage and begins slaughtering those who don't worship him, will you be saying the same thing?
Would you have taken your same passive stance during the holocaust?

By grace through faith I am submitting to the training in Hebrews 11 faith, holiness, and the death of the self life to be an overcomer Revelation 2 and 3 to receive all the promises stated there, especially Rev 3:10.

Well to be honest with you i always knew that any releif man has ever experienced from tyranny, terror and opression, any freedom he has ever had was in no way due to anything ever done by people with that attitude...i guess we have to thank the "unbelievers" for that.....wicked leaders are always "chosen" by God to reward people who turn their back on him...such is the case now, that does not however mean that he is a man of God.

I would say it's appropriate, given that Obama has already clearly stated his position on the topics of abortion and homosexuality.

He will be accountable to God. If a Christian uses birth control that is abortion because nearly every form is abortive. They are as guilty as any sinner. yIf Christians would gave him the respect that the Bible requires then they could pray in FAITH for him to change.
Do you really think that any law would stop sinners for getting abortions or being sodomites? It will not! If it is in their hearts God sees it as a sin! The problem is the church is not doing what Jesus says to do the way He says to do it Mark 16:15-18 and Matthew 10:7-8. The only thing that stop people with sin in their hearts is to be born again and discipled. Law, court cases, and protests are the world's ways and will NEVER work.

So you support lawlessness then, based on your logic all laws should be done away with...yeah,that's biblical....it's also very American these days

No, I do not support "lawlessness". My point is laws do not change people's hearts. The church is the only one with that message and power but do not use it. Instead they want to do it using the world's ways which is just what impotent Lot tried to do in Sodom and did nothing but incur the wrath of sinners.

Who said laws are intended to change people's hearts,it is the penalty they should fear but we have done away with that to, ....the civil law is to protect the innocent and bring the wrath of God and a just society down on the guilty,period...those who's hearts and conscience will not allow them to do such things need no law....in our society it is the evil, wicked and vile people concern themselves with./

Exactly. It is the Church's job to change that by doing what Christ did. Jesus NEVER raised a political issue to bring any kind of change. Christians are as guilty of abortion as sinners are. Therefore they have no authority or power to use the methods God ordained to bring a change in the attitude of society which would change laws and hearts.
The early church lived in a society that practiced abortion and sodomy freely. They never raised this as a matter of laws.

lesjude,

It's a waste of time dealing with people like strat and prism.
Republicans are very misled on the abortion issue. The last time the Supreme court voted on it 3 of the 5 'Republican' justices voted to uphold it!

The "church" because it has failed so miserably in its civic responsabilities will be hanging by its thumbs in a concentration camp before too long..."christians" are happy to enjoy freedom provided by others and display a pious attitude towards its maintenence, many of the founders of the nation who were christians did not agree with you....i thank God they didn't or our lives would be very different than they are today.

Yes they did and what a day it will be for them and you when you are held accountable for it.....you and them are murderers at heart.

Why are we making judgements about a man whom we do not know of. President Barack Obama has confessed to being a Christian and God had a hand in who won the election. President Barack Obama received the majority of African American evangelical Christian votes (of which I am apart off). We have never had this level of hate for prior presidents of this country!

President Obama was predestined for this office by God before He created the universe and knows him perfectly. I respectfully submit that a level of hate is there but other presidents were hated more. Christians need to pray for His protection however.
