1 Peter 1:23

"""For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God."""

Notice carefully that "word" is not WORD, or Word"..
Its talking about the GOSPEL, the seed of the word, that is preached..
The word of God is powerful,

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Thats the SCRIPTURES....= "word".

The word of God is ALIVE.
Its LIVING seed.
