ROFL How otherwise could they partake of the Holy Spirit at some point in their life if not a believer in Jesus Christ? That's impossible. The sin of apostasy is having Jesus then turning from Him to another god, or atheism.
Apostasy is to fall from faith in Christ.........in other words, to stop your discipleship.
But this does not end your salvation, as apostasy is just one more sin, and for some reason, charismatics think that there are 2 or 3 that the blood of Jesus have not resolved 2000 yrs ago.
Well, im happy to inform you, that all your sin is gone, and all your future sin is redeemed also.......
And verse 29 is the Hebrew verse that is making you dizzy.
THe reason it is, is because you are not understanding that the verse has a context, previously given, so that you dont misapply it to the born again as you are doing.
That is verse 26...thats the context of vs 29
see, verse 29, defines the blood of sanctification, that in verse 26 you find the person being warned not to deny it.
So, its the "willful" Christ rejector in vs 26, (Hebrews), who are rejecting the sanctifying blood of verse 29, willfully, in unbelief in verse 26 Paul is defining the cost of this unpardonable sin.
What you did, is to commit the common error of not applying the context of verse 26 to verse 29.
See, the Hebrews are willfully sinning.....in verse 26, and to do that, is to commit despite to and against the spirit of Grace and trod underfoot the blood of Jesus, in vs 29, BECAUSE they willfully did this in verse 26.
So, what you did, is the common error of misapplying verse 29 to everyone.
Nothing gives a carnal charismatic more joy then running around telling real Born Again Christians that they can lose their salvation.
And that heresy.... if U teach that that, denies the Truth regarding God's Grace.
