Have you ever been challenged to, say, call for a healing?

We all need faith in God. What we don't need is faith in faith.

There are two types of unbelief.

So you pray get them healed and now the have a problem.

Then there is the example you are talking about. which is not quite what you maybe thinking it is.
Jesus went there and they are looking and sayin we know you. your joes son. You were actully a sinner born out of wed lock. and you think we will listen to you never go away man. They would not go to be healed because of there unbelief. Not quite what you are thinking. Jesus never asked for qualifications before heaing anyone. Lets see do you beive in God. He never done that. He asked some do you believe I can do this? Then be it as you believe. So some had faith and some never. The woman bleeding her faith healed her. Lazerath had no faith. His sisters had no faith. They were not even thinking raising him. No dont open the tomb hes smelling already. Dont do that. They had no faith either. Christ faith raised laz.
If they belive good they can add to it. But there unbrlif cant take away from healing. What you really think Jesus is sitting there saying guy sorry I cant do it. You have no faith sorry. Not a chance. He healed them all everywhere He went every time every one. Bar none.

You must continue walking in faith as you are for that is where you are called.

Jesus knew the hearts of those he healed and he knew the will of God for them. When we know those things, we will always do as He did.

Excellent post two pages back...Well said.

To me healing is one of the great mysteries...no hard and fast rules.
I wish there was a booklet that taught us " Point 1..do this", Point 2..next

But I find God mysterious...He chooses to leave it loosy-gooey ..no hard and fast rules. No neat little boxes.

We have prayed for them and they have been healed, we have prayed for them and they have died.

I have been healed many times, so has Dave...we have both not been healed of things...what makes the difference...how knows, not me.
Many years along this road and still don't have all the answers...and I don't believe anyone who says that they do have the answers of gets a healing 100% every time...I don't believe it!

I always expect a healing, always pray for a healing...if it doesn't come then I praise my way through it anyway...and keep on keeping on.
God is good..ALL the time.
We love Him either way, prayers answered, prayers not answered...changes nothing. He is still The Almighty Healer.
Healed or not, we still can raise our hand and say- " By the stripes of Jesus we are healed."
And, if not in this here and now...then in the next...

Plus, how on earth could Peter's shadow heal so many laying in the streets IF Jesus had already healed them ALL?

There is a time , season, and reason for everything.
We are also told that Jesus ONLY DID the things that he saw and heard from His Father.

In our lives there are often other things that God is dealing with in us ( or own loved ones) ...we think that we understand everything, we don't.
Unfortunately there are no neat little boxes. I wish there was.... :)

No you added your own here. The bible never said he turned and walked away from them because of there unblief.
You added that.
Why cant you see that they dont believe or trust Hin so will not allow Him to lay hands on them?

Does the bible say Jesus went round the whole world and meet every single person. No You are jumping to conclusions.
Do I need to quote every scripture that said Jesus healed them all? I expect you to know scripture with out having to. You talk about how you believe in healing. So you should really know the amount of times the bible says He healed them all. But for you I will qoute them.

If this does not convince you that Jesus is consistant and has no favourets Nothing will. I expect you to at least know What Gods hearts is and argue for the better and not the worse. I expect you to What He will do for one He will do for only some? ALL All all always every time comsistant. The weak link is us always.

Yes there is and what season are we in now. The one were God heals some and not other. He cant do that or hes a liar. Because He told us By His stiprs we are healed twice He said it . In the old and new covanant. We are in a new and better covanant. The whole bible talks about Gods love and compassion. Its like no people dont really know God and limit Him continually. You are as you go going to add life to His word or take away. we need to look at what we are doing. Far to much negative words towards God that we really dont understand Him or know what He is like. The season we are in right now is we are to walk and fully represent Jesus in His absense to a lost world. But we are well You never got healed because of this and that and maybe . If anyone is arguing against healing today you are fighting God and have free will to do just that., That alone should tell you how much He loves you. He will let Christians walk past the sick every single day in your christian walk and let you continue believeing what YOU believe. Seek me He says. But we seek each other in here for wisdom.

Ahh you dont get this part. Jesus is God big secret? No so why would he do anything else other than what God wants He is God He knows what God wants you think Jesus was seeking council with God on His will. If so you are addingf again. He knew Gods will. If God was here and went on the cross every thing would have been the same. If it was holy Ghost every thing would be the same. They are aone mind set always. You think Jesus is sitting in heaven saying I dont agree with you on this thing Father. We disagree on a lot of things. Then God says look when You go to earth you really got to get it together and just do what I tell you.
They are one. I always do the will of the father doesnt not mean I am waiting to be lead. Thought you were God Jesus oh yeah man but I need lead man. So much confusion about who God is and what He is and does.

God dealing with other things has nothing to do with healing. There is a neat little box, Its called the bible. He clearly teaches how to pray. He teaches what cause it to not work. He teaches why iyt does work. He told us we already have it.
But we find a thousand reasons for why it doesnt work. None of them are from God. God is YES AND AMEN. we are stealing the truth from Gods word. And its worse when we are teaching with little understanding.

There are neat little boxes. In scripture. You are clearly told How it works and How it doesnt work. But you continue to refuse scripture telling you.
You are no different from the deciples they failed after they healed many. They were flabergasted at what happend for them. Now all of a sudden It never worked, What changed. There thinking. Peter the bold boy Hey I will heal him bring him here. Hmmm peter starts wondering why it isnt working. maybe I never said it right, maybe, hmm not sure wish Jesus was here. wow the whole crowd are looking at me pressure man. Get me out of here. He had no clue why it never worked and his head is now racing becusae one demon a little stronger than the others says lets just see if your really sealed in the deal. Jesus told him and you if the mountain doesnt move no faith only faith moves the mountian nothing else. Jesus says anything you ask. Thats every thing right that in Gods will. You either know Gods heart here or you dont GUYS. Any thing you ask of me that is the Fathers will I WILL DO IT for you.. heres another Nothing shall be impossible for YOU NOthing. But we dont except what God says all over the bible. We look for fault and flaws. and try something to see if it works sometimes. That is not faith. I could walk any one of you in here down the street and show you in five minutes were your faiths at. All the answers are hear in His word dwelling inside us now and for ever. We have the mind of Christ. If we spent as much time in the neat little box called the secret place we would know the answers. But we dont. So you get your reward. clueless in healing the whole church. Its blind leading the blind.

They are all in the secret place. apart from the fact they are in the scripture. You are saying God is holding back from us. He says you have the mind of Christ. Wonder if you have it and to unlock it you must surrender you life here and now to Him. But no we love our lives and still get offended. He forgave us everything yet we are still offended at people every day. Yet He says If you dont forgive He wont forgive you. But still we are offended at Christians let alone the world. Wonder if it doesnt work becuase we look less like Him than we Could do? The flesh needs to be put to death once and for all.But we live for our selves.

Your words are life and death. So you are sitting there talking the time to write that. There are people who walk in 100% healing. Just because you dont know them. I believe it. I dont need proof. That is faith. You refuse to believe it even though if you were pulled in to a court and asked do you know for a fact there are none. You would say I dont know if that true for sure, But I think so. That is horrific. Do you not know the power in in your tounge of life and death. He means it. Its not a joke. We need to shut up always. Take every thought capture/prisoner. Before it becomes a word. WHY? Before it does damage. why cant We see that.

Every thing i said and this is all you come back with. You have NO scripture for what YOU believe. All you said is what you believe. Thats is id feelings and scripture says. Dont go on feeling. So if its just what you think. You should really make that clear before quoting people and tellin them they are wrong. Please bring some scripture that back up what you believe.

You said He never healed them all I gave you 13 verses saying He did, You gave no scripture to say He never. Then will you at least acknowleadge the facts that I gave you. Those making the claim that lack of faith prevents or slows miraculous healing are liars and hypocrites, or spiritually under-developed, or they run from the very cross they are supposed to pick up. I rejoice in any authentic miracle, but God never intended each believer to have miracles or we would all be disease free.

Well I guess some people think they have the "gift" if putting guilt trips on others...pretending that in their own lives they hit the mark perfectly every time , and hit a home run every time they pray.

We had another 'one of those' here for a while...remember?
He too tried to beat everyone down with guilt daily, that we were sub-standard Christians if we prayed and God didn't heal the person ..he is no longer here now....he got suspended .....
The message of guilt is not the Good News.
