noun:
soul; plural noun:
souls
1.
the spiritual or immaterial part of a human being or animal, regarded as immortal.
Im not sure if they're the same thing but we will go with it...
In the early 20th century Dr. Duncan MacDougall concluded that the human soul weighs about 21 grams after conducting his experiment.
He conducted another experiment in which he concluded that dogs have no soul...
Then he died and science ignored the topic until recently... It has been a topic in philosophy for a while, it's referred to as our "consciousness".
Science also refers to our soul as our "consciousness"...
More recently, Dr. Sam Parnia has been involved in the biggest ever study of death... He has interviewed thousands of people who have literally come back from the dead through cardiac arrest... Parnia has concluded that our soul lives on after we die... As Christians, we know that, but it rarely gets discussed cos I don't think anyone really knows much about it.
But if anyone is interested I highly recommend listening to Dr. Sam Parnia
