How to be saved (born again) and join the family of God!!!

Romans: Chapter 10 verse 9-10-13 GOD SAYS=

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in your heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be Saved. For with the heart man
believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession
is made unto Salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the
name of the Lord shall be Saved....................

---------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------

An example prayer for those that have never talked to God!

Heavenly Father:........................................... ...............................
I come to you in prayer asking for the forgiveness of
my Sins. I confess with my mouth and believe with my
heart that Jesus is your Son, And that he died on the
Cross at Calvary that I might be forgiven and have
Eternal Life in the Kingdom of Heaven. Father, I believe
that Jesus rose from the dead and I ask you right now
to come in to my life and be my personal Lord and
Savior. I repent of my Sins and will Worship you all the
day's of my Life!. Because your word is truth, I confess
with my mouth that I am Born Again and Cleansed
by the Blood of Jesus! In Jesus Name, Amen

Jn 3:5 --------------born or water and of the SPirit >>>>>>>>>>>> enter the kingsom
Matt 7:21---------doeth the will of the Father>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> enter the kingdom

Being born again requires an obedient doing on the part of man in doing as God says in believing (Jn 8:24), repenting of sins (Lk 13:3), confession of Christ (Mt 10:32-33; Rom 10:9-10) and submssion to water baptism (Mk 16:16; Acts 2:38; Acts 10:47-48).

There is no salvbation by reciting a 'sinner's prayer' under the NT gospel.

I'm not against helping folks reach GOD by any means necessary in these last days.

save some with compassion and others with fear , hating even the garment spotted by the flesh .
its time to correct error and to point to Christ and to remind all who call upon HIS name to BE YE HOLY FOR HE IS HOLY .
Time to use every reminder both Christ and the apostles left us in said bible . cause only that pattern will work .
If we go around it and make parts of it void the only thing that works IS DESTRUCTION unto the soul.
Time to point to Christ . March on in the trenches kenturah . LEt the KING be praised .

GOD is fine with all religoins , all paths , with atheists , with homosexuality , with love of money and etc .
TOO many are following satan who knows well how to decieve and to use the name of JESUS
but points to a jesus that is really himself . and the flesh of man just loves that god dont IT .
But not lambs . we have the LOVE of GOD upon our hearts . WHICH actually LOVETH TRUTH and not lies and not sin .

What is salvbation?

NO 'prayer'??? Then, the humble publican was not Justified By God?:

Luk 18:13-14 "And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up
so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying,
God be Merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to
his house JUSTIFIED rather than the other: for every one that exalteth
himself shall be abased; and he that HUMBLETH himself shall be exalted."

Conclusion: don't pray; DON'T be saved?

DON'T DO THIS = DON'T Be Saved!!!:

"Believe On The LORD JESUS CHRIST, and thou SHALT BE SAVED!..."
--------------------------------------------

Grace, Peace, And JOY In Christ, And In His Word Of Truth, Rightly

The publican is not an example of NT gospel salvation per Heb 9:16-17; Rom 6:3-6; Rom 10:9-10.

According to Luke's account of the great commission, the gospel would begin at Jerusalem where Peter preached repentance and remission of sins. From when the gospel message began to be spread in Acts 2 forward no one was ever told to recite some sinner's prayer to be saved. Nor was anyone ever told to 'believe only' to be saved. Both ideas are inventions of man where man is trying to save himself by his own righteousness rather than be obedient to God's righteousness.

When any topic of the Bible is being studied, such as salvbation, one must examine ALL verses that deal with salvbation, not just one or two verses. Rom 10:9-10 are two verses that deal with salvbation but they are far from the only verses. You ifnore verses that require repentance (Lk 13:3; Acts 2:38) and verses that require baptism (Mk 16:16; 1 Pet 3:21). No one can read the first sentence only of a 500 page novel one has never read before and then claim to know all there is to know about that novel. Likewise one cannot cherry pick a verse or two and claim to know all there is to know about salvation. Unfortunately people approach the Bible with their preconceived ideas and then try to change, rearrange the BIble to fit that preconceived idea even if it means overlooking verses that do not fit their ideas.

Jesus is the way, therefore must do what Jesus says to do to be saved, Lk 6:46

JESUS IS OUR SAVIOUR !
HE IS ALSO THE ONLY WAY TO RECEIVE SALVATION.

It is really as simple as Romans 10 says which the OP quoted in conjunction with a broken heart & a contrite spirit.

Then having heard the word we must be doers of the word also per all the Spirits convictions & instructions !

ALL, not just some of or the ones we agree with, nor have been INDOCTRINATED into but ALL !

Rom 10:9-10 are not the only two verses in the Bible that deal with salvation. One must take into account 'all the counsel of God" (Acts 20:27) which means Luke 13:3; Acts 2:38; Matt 10:32-33; Mk 16:16; Acts 10:47-48; Rom 6:3-6; 1 Pet 3:21; Col 2:11-12 among dozens of other salvific verses all have to be taken into consideration.

I agree with you that ALL verses that deal with salvation have to be considered, not just some. Romans 10:9-10 tells us some of what is necessary to be saved, therefore all verses that deal with salvation must be taken into consideration. One cannot cherry pick out just the verses that require belief and then declare 'belief alone' saves while purposely ignoring all other salvific verses that require repentance Lk 13:3; confession Mt 10:32-33, baptism Mk 16:16. Those who cherry pick some verses while ignoring other verses have an agenda, a personal theological bias that they are trying to promote.

I agree.
We take the  WHOLE of the word or we really end up with none.

Jesus must be preached for this is the salvation message we are commissioned with.

It is NOT us alone however for the Spirit must go B4 to convict of the wretched state of a soul. He also prepares the person to receive the word as well as the one giving it, so both are doers of the word.

I'm not sure if I have ever encountered a word that could stand alone other than amen.
( Cherry picking.)
Even the shortest verse ; Jesus wept, had a before & an after.

I do not think the OP is doing that; cherry picking, however I do not know folks here and only God sees the intent of the heart.

Immature believers do this and it is bc they have NOT been weaned from the milk. I know some who have been " saved" 40 or more yrs but are still drinking milk.

It takes application and balance by studying and rightly dividing under the Spirit to grow & mature..........many never do the above studying.

I'm trying really hard not to have an agenda other than Jesus Christ & him crucified and my old man buried then resurrected with him.

I have no denominal affiliate, have not had in more than 30 something yrs but this isn't to say I do not have some Protestant thoughts that I have not surrendered to God's word and the TRUTH of it.
