There is no such thing as a "sanctifying work".
If there was, then there would be no need for Jesus's blood.
See, if you could sanctify yourself...then God didn't need to die on the cross.
Your issue, among 20 others, theologically, is that you have not understood that if you can't redeem yourself by your works, before God saved you by His blood, then your stupid self effort works, are just as useless to sanctify you after you are SAVED by God's blood.

What can't save you, before God saved you, can't sanctify you after God has already Sanctified you, with Christ's blood.

Discipleship is not the process of self sanctification, as you are already eternally sanctified by God's blood.

So, discipleship, is to come into the full mental understanding of HOW to walk in the Light of the Revelation of God's Grace, and do it all your life.

How do you know a real teacher.
1. They wont boast about it.
2. They will be known by there wisdom.
3. They will listen to others.
4. Their only interest will be leading people to Christ, so people can find Him for themselves.
5. They will not demand anyone listen to them because they dont desire people to follow after them but Christ.
6. They dont care whether men hear them or not, because it is up to the reader to determine what is truth by them selves. It is between the reader and Jesus.

And that is why we have no teachers on this forum,

Having picked out all the encouraging parts of this post, I hate to think what it would be like if he focused only on the negative. Now that we all know we are a load of dipsticks who are not worth the time of day, we can go take a long run of a short pier to put us out of our misery.

There is faith in faith, and there is faith in Christ.
These are not the same.
Someone like justbyfaith, has faith in FAITH... In other words..........he thinks..>"if i hold unto my FAITH, then God will keep me saved".
So, do you see how he has left faith in CHRIST to keep Him saved, and now he is trying to abide by self effort in God's Grace by trusting in his faith.

What does this means? It means that people like this, religious people, have as their savior their FAITH.
Faith has become what they are holding unto, to try to stay saved.
This is not faith in Christ...this is faith in FAITH.
This is why deceived people like this will talk about JAMES, and talk about "dead faith".
And that is because to these religious people, FAITH is the savior, so, if their faith is dead, then in their mind, they are LOST.
This is Wrong Believing and it is self deception.
